so who watched em i was very disappointed first of all johnny cash shoulda at least won some sort of aword an i was glad duran duran was on but i wished they woulda played one of there songs an coldplay was good but why didnt queens of the stone age or the white stripes or even the donnas none of em one for best rock video it was linkin park made me disapointed...what are ur thoughts

I think the opening number was garbage. Just another example of sluty pop singers acting exactly like they always do. For anyone who didnt see it it was a dance number with madonna, britney spears, and christina. Lets just say that Madonna, kissed..well the other members of the dance number. Which I thought was really trashy. I hate it when any girl..reguardless of fame..does things to attract male attention. It degrades women when we act like that. It makes us look like a prize or an object rather than smart human beings..well atleast some of us are.

Dont get me wrong..usually Im a fan of madonna..i just didnt like the stunt she pulled tonite. Not trying to cause a fight, just stating my oppinion.

What did everyone else think about the show? Surprised about who won???

hey, i'm new here.. but about the vmas, i thought they were the worst ever!! all the music and winners were hip hop and i'm not really a fan of that kind of music. at least coldplay performed! they're awesome! and i agree that the opening thing with madonna was really trashy and i used to like christina and her music and voice are still great but she needs to put some more clothes on and stop acting so dirty..

I only watched a little bit of it, but I was disappointed that 50 Cent won for best new artist...honestly, I don't care if he can rap or not, I think it's ridiculous that he's become a "hero" because he's been shot however many times and all that.

I LIKE CHRISTINA! okay?! she's admitted to being bi in an article i've read. if she wants to kiss madonna, more power to her! it's not like it affected your lives, so u were grossed out. were u MADE to watch it??? no, i dun believe so, you almost always have a choice. unless sum1 taped ur eyes open, and tied u to a chair in front of the box, u didn't HAVE to watch it. have an open mind!!!!!!!!! it's not that big of a deal, people! if she's comfortable kissing madonna, "getting dirrty" or wearing almost nothing, than it's her desicion!

Yay for Missy though.. i LOVE her music! Its about dang time though, she should have gotten a moon man a loooooong time ago.

Was it just me or did Snoop look faded/high on the red carpet/during the show? Like when we was laughing at all the jokes that weren't really that funny? Oh well that was just my opinion. He was sporting the low pony tail on the carpet, then looked all nice during the performance... i love that guy!
