MTTMM for DLR Hotel Guests?

I know a few other people staying in one of the Disney hotels have received the "Keeping your Disney vacation on the right track" brochure in the mail. We received one in the mail while we were off on our non-Disney vacation. It comes with a personalized booklet that includes this information:

"As a Guest of a Disneyland Resort Hotel, you'll also enjoy: Mickey's Toontown Morning Madness. Meet Mickey and his pals in Mickey's Toontown before they open the gates to the rest of their Guests!"

It does NOT come with the tickets that are usually included in a hotel/ticket package. It's just a blurb inside a small booklet that also says we can receive Disneyl Character Calls, a Key to the Magic, and talks about dining, tours, and has some coupon codes.

We did not book a package, just hotel only, so I did not expect to receive tickets to MTTMM. However, this booklet and the above statement certainly seem to indicate that we will be able to attend. My question is, has anyone who has booked "hotel only" at one of the three Disney hotels, been able to access MTTMM since these brochures started going out? Has anyone asked when they've registered at the hotel? If no one knows by the time I go, I'll bring my booklet and ask around. Someone kindly passed on some MTTMM tickets to me, however, and if it turns out that as a resort guest I don't need them, I'd love to pass them to someone who does.

Bumping in the hopes that someone who has recently completed a trip knows something about this or someone going on a trip in the next week or two can ask at the PPH, DLH, or DGC about DLR hotel guests getting access to MTTMM. I know I'm not the only one who received the mailer, so someone must have asked at some point!

I'm interested in knowing this as well. We booked a hotel only and then bought AP's later. When I called to see if I could get the tickets they said no, because I didn't buy everything at once.

My sister bought a complete package at a good neighbor hotel (5 for 3 deal through Costco). I booked 7 nights at the GCH concierge level and bought 5 PAP's (all through the Disneyland website), I'll be pretty upset if I can't get into MTTMM and she does. I spent 6 times more $$$ on my hotel/ticket package than she did.

I just went into the disneyland.com booking area, and it states that when you book your disney vacation online (NOT disney *package*, but "vacation", without any asterices or anything, AND when I click to book, it allows me to choose room only) you get various things, including MTTMM.

I think it would be an interesting change, that's for sure. Not a valuable one, in my opinion and experience (and having the "toontown family of the day" paper on my fridge, even), but an interesting one.

Sure hope it's not to the detriment of MMs being included with a hotel stay....

It would also be a NEW change. MTTMM has traditionally been ONLY something you got with a package. It didn't matter how cheap the package was (you could have booked a package at a cheap offsite Good Neighbor, as long as it was a package through disneyland.com), you got it, and you *didn't* no matter what you spent getting a room only deal.

I got the same Keeping on Track brochure in the mail today. I noticed the MTTMM benefit. But what really got me was the coupons in the back. They gave me a coupon for free shipping on my online order from DisneyPhotoPass.com that expires on 12/31/10. They also included a coupon for ESPN Zone that expires on 11/30/10.

My trip dates are 12/28/10 to 1/02/11 which Disney knows because I booked through their site. I think I'll call Vacation Planning and let them know that their "Special offers picked just for you!" aren't really that special.

I will be leaving tomorrow for our DL vacation and arriving in DL on Saturday. We are staying at a room only reservation at the GCH and am curious about this so I will be sure to ask. I never even received the Keeping on Track mailer. :( so I will soon find out.
