MSP flyers, what rates are you seeing?

I don't usually post about airfare prices, because I know flying out of MSP is expensive. I consider $300 out of here to be a good fare. We are flying October 4th this year. I usually book Delta right when the fares come out, and do ok. We have flown several times in October. This year however, I am not finding any direct flights for under $500! Is everyone else finding this to be true out of MSP this year, or am I just stuck on the most expensive dates of the year? Just for fun, I tried moving it a week, and still got the same rates.

Looking for airfare for June. On Delta cheapest is over $500!
Have found $350 RT on AirTran but the times are not good for us on that flight.

Same here, so disappointed in the prices out of MSP. At this point I'm starting to think I need to budget $500 per person. If I find something less than that I'll feel like I hit the jackpot!!

Have you checked southwest.com? They fly out of the Humphrey terminal and are reasonable especially if you book a few months in advance. We love to fly out of Humphrey since it's small and you don't have the hassles of the big terminal next door. And it's easy to book and manage your flight online. And bags fly free.

Southwest isn't booking yet for October, and they don't fly direct. This is only a 4 day weekend, so we need to maximize time.

I have never ever seen Delta prices like these before!

Unfortunately even Southwest prices have been up there as well.
