Can anyone who does the MSEP Dining Package today or this weekend maybe report back on how the check in process went, food review, whether it’s available to go or if you sit there at Plaza Inn?
Also where the reserved viewing area will be?

Thank you in advance!

Yes, I'm curious about the vegetarian option too, and if they'll just let you get anything off the current menu if you don't love the package options.

I honestly don't think parade dining packages are worth it because it's easy to get a parade spot compared to other shows.

Yesterday, a CM mistakenly thought that reserved seating was only for the first show and allowed regular guests to sit there for the second show. Then other CMs had to clear them out and it was not pretty. No serious shouting but I saw a manager deal with multiple irate guests and heard a poor CM say multiple times, "I am a human too"... These were the benches across from Mr Lincoln so I think it was the VIP tour + club 33 ones with the dining package spots next to that.

Yesterday, there was a spot in front of Small World but I think those were VIP tour + club 33 ones as well and not sure if there was a dining package one next to it.

As with anything at Disneyland get there early.
We went on May 13 (Friday). We passed by the Plaza Inn section at 7:05 pm on our way to take a round trip on the train and they were not letting people in yet. When we got back from our train ride at 7:45 pm there were already 2 rows of people waiting (1 row sitting on the curb and another row standing). So we got a 2nd-row standing spot and thanks to some kind people in the 1st standing row they let our daughter stand with them so she could see.

The food was fine overall. Adults get a chicken leg, breast, wing, and thigh, wedge salad, roasted carrots, and cornbread. Kids get chicken tenders, carrots, and cornbread. All meals came with a cheesecake. We didn't care for the cheesecake and the tenders were inedible. They really slam the little ones at these places with subpar food.

Overall, it was a decent experience but something I would never do again. I'm not a fan of paying for an upgrade and for that upgrade not to pan out.

A few tips I noticed. 1) Seems the area across from the Plaza section may be a good place to catch a spot kind of late. I noticed several open spots after we got into the reserved section. 2) During the 2nd parade, the fantasyland and small world areas were much more open compared to the 1st show (this is where we will go from now on). 3) if you are not watching the parade, avoid the Fantasyland/Matterhorn area at all costs.

We watched the second parade last night. It was so easy to get a great view on Main Street. We walked up 15 minutes before the parade started and could have walked up one minute before and had the same view. There is no reason to do a dining package for the second show.

Great pic! 💯 We always walk up last minute at the 2nd parade time and find a good spot. It also makes for an easy getaway.

After the first parade is it possible to just move a little from the reserved area and stay for fireworks?
