Not trying to get burned, just have a honest concern. I have MS and I am very happy to report still very mobile but I have my days. The last couple of months I have been increasingly more fatigued and more painful. Previous visits to WDW I have utilized a ECV and no issues. We leave for WDW in 11 days and this time around I am thinking I want an ECV but now I have an 18 month old and I can't figure out reasonable logistics. I will also be traveling with my DH and DS7. I know we will be splitting up a lot, DH taking 7 yr old and me with the toddler. ECV is now off the table unless rules have changed and he can now sit on my lap (ok this was sarcastic). What are my chances of getting a DAS with my mobility issue? I figure it can't hurt to ask and if they say no thank them for their time and move on. Not trying to beat the system, but it seems as if they may be my last trip as I don't know if my health will last to another trip, just want this trip to be special for my boys.

You have to explain why your condition dos not allow you to wait in line. If it's strictly mobility then they will tell you to rent a wheelchair or ecv.

You should be able to get a stroller as a wheelchair sticker so that you can take the toddler's stroller in the lines due to your disability. That may make things a bit easier for you.

I agree. Then you would not need to hold your squirming 18 month old while waiting in the lines.

Plus, for yourself, it would give you some support while walking.

If you have smartphone, I would also recommend downloading the My Disney Experience app (iPhone or Android). It includes maps and current wait times, which can help with planning and help you conserve your energy.

Thanks for the excellent idea of asking about the stroller as wheel chair, that would definitely help. Sometimes just having to chase a toddler with an agenda all his own can be the most wearing on my condition, but I love my little miracle.

Even with the stroller as a wheelchair tag I would still recommend the ECV for when you're all together. Your DH can push the stroller while you're all together and then when you split up you can park the ECV and push the stroller. This will help you conserve your limited amount of energy as much as possible.
