MS oly accepts 2 forms of payment--is this new?

This is their way of stopping us from using the discounted Target Disney Gift Cards. The highest denimination that target carries is $50 so two would cover nothing at WDW. Does anyone know what the larget denimination they carry in the stores is currently?

I think $50 is the biggest they sell in non-Disney stores, besides the ticket/ap vouchers they sometimes sell in grocery stores. IMHO, if Disney doesn't want people getting 5% off their cards, they shouldn't sell them at all. To me it's ridiculous that they won't accept their own "currency" because it's slightly inconvenient.

Most likely it is costing them more than 5%. I would guess that the discount that they give the retailers is more than 5% or the retailers would not be selling them.

Our Kroger's carries variable value Disney Gift Cards $15 - $500. I purchased a card with $80 in November and one with $250 in December the past couple of weeks while they were offering 4X gas points. The $250 card will give me $1.00 off per gallon on a 35 gallon fill-up.

I bought my DVC discounted AP today using 40 Disney gc. I called DVC MS and asked to be transferred to Ticketing because DVC MS told me that he can take only 2 gc max.

Ticketing took my 40 cards over the phone today. CMs are also sick of typing in the number of cards and they complain to management also. The CM thinks that next year there will be a way for us to call and group the amount before we call WDW to pay. I'm hoping this will be the case.

I'm going to be up in Disney in a few weeks and will be paying the same way. Do you think I can got to a ticketing window to do it in person. Hopefully they can just scan the cards.

At Disneyland, I brought my gc and purchased tickets at the hotel concierge. I only had 20 gc. They scanned them.

I was planning to use mine in March onsite. We are staying at BWV and will charge to our room. Then before check out go to the front desk and present my 20 gift cards or however many I need to pay for our meals, etc. I hope that this will still be allowed. Because I really don't want to carry them with me to use each day.
