MS after hours

Is is possible to contact MS after hours? The reason I ask is because we had to stay an extra two nights after our flight was cancelled in Orlando on Saturday night. I would have loved to be able to use points and not have to pay OOP and also stay in nicer accomodations, but when the flight got cancelled it was 8pm. We ended up staying at All Star Movies, with my annual pass discount. We were glad to have a place to stay, but DVC would have been much more comfortable!

No after hours service, they close at 5:30 EST.

You can call the resorts directly, after MS is closed, and make a reservation for that night, if there is availability. I have done this.

Our flight was cancelled also but it was 1 pm and the first thing I did was call MS to get a room. They were very helpful and found us a 2 bd at SSR. I'll have to make sure to have the resort phone number handy in case it ever happens again after MS closes.

Same thing happened to us this past weekend... Flight was cancelled due to weather in Northeast, but didn't find out until about 9:00pm. So I called the front desk @ SSR, told the operator our flight was canceled and needed to extend our stay; she said she would have the "Room Assigner" call me right back. They called back and she was able to book the ressie using my points right over the phone... very quick and simple.
