IT band is still injured.

I'm not certain that it will ever heal. However, I officially signed up for the 2011 full marathon Friday (and I booked at the BWI

) so I have to get back into running and figure out how I'm going to handle this leg injury. I'm determined to fully run the 26.2 miles this next marathon, like I had trained to do for the 2010, and not wind up walking 1/2 of it injured.
Sorry to her the IT band is still giving you trouble. It does tend to be one those chronic injuries
I haven't officially registered for the full yet, but I'm definitely planning on it. We have reservations at BWV for the week so we will be neighbors
When it gets closer maybe we can talk about riding the bus together to the marathon. Definitely won't be running together though! I'm planning on regular walking breaks
You will leave me in the dust!
I've eaten here twice: Oct 2008 and then this past January, night of the full marathon to celebrate. The main complaint that I see for this restaurant is service but in January I had the
best server ever at Ohana. (I think I gave her more than a 20% tip.) Also, I was eating with my mother who has a food allergy and the chef came out to speak with her about her allergy. They specially prepared one of the dishes for my mother so that she could eat it. I've enjoyed Ohana's both visits. I love the bread, pot stickers and the dessert the best.
I'm glad to hear your service was good. I'm planning on this for the 1st night because it sounds like tons of food and I know from dining plan experience that later on in the week I'm not quite as hungry
I ate there in January '09. My aunt, her nanny and I took my (then) 4 yr old cousin Katherine. Katherine spent the entire dinner with her head buried under the table, laying in my aunt's lap, glaring at the characters as they came by. She even scared off Lady Tremaine. Seriously, she did. My little four year old cousin could out glower the wicked step-mother. The only character that Katherine liked was Drizella. Mary, the nanny, had been sitting on the side of the table with me. She'd left to go back up to the buffet when Drizella stopped by. Since that chair was vacant, Drizella bent down to look under the table at Katherine and proceeded to have an entire conversation under the table with her. After Drizella left our table, Katherine finally emerged from her spot, sat up on her knees in her chair, and wide-eyed watched Drizella as she made her way around the restaurant. I think Drizella became Katherine's favorite character that night.

The step-mother and sisters were awesome. I loved them. I, personally, didn't care for Cinderella and her Prince ... especially when the Prince stopped back at our table for a second time to flirt with Mary and not me. *ahem*.
The food there was ok and they do serve their strawberry soup for dinner which I
love.

I prefer the food at 1900 much more than Garden Grill. I ate at GG Christmas Day 2008 and hated the food so much that each time I walked into The Land to go to Soarin' after that meal, I felt sick upon smelling the food from the GG as I passed.
Sounds like your cousin is a character herself
I'm excited about this though the boys are annoyed we're going to a princess meal. Hopefully the Tremaines win them over and I'm glad to hear the food is better than the Garden Grill. We think the Garden Grill food is ok, but I'd never eat there if there were no characters. So we should do fine at 1900 Park Fare and I'll make sure to try the soup
I've eaten here three times. It's a hit or miss for if you get a good server. The first two times I had servers that had zero desire to get into their role (seriously, why didn't they just apply to work at a normal restaurant then?

) but in December '08 I had a great server. I was there for my birthday and it was my Grandmother, mother and aunt with me.
Our server was 'Cousin Cooper' and he was a blast. That was the funniest night ever. 'Cousin Cooper' also had the the other guests in our seating area sign a birthday card for me and then he presented the card and a cupcake to me. If you have a good server, you get picked on but it is so much fun. If you don't have a good server ... it's just like any normal restaurant. Start off by teasing them and then they'll know that you want the "entertainment" and hopefully you'll get it. My mother decided to have a "sword fight" (with straws) with my aunt which resulted in my mother accidently knocking over her glass of Diet Coke. (*sigh* yes, my mother is worse than a child.

) but 'Cousin Cooper' wasn't the only CM having fun with us at our table b/c of things like that. I had the pot roast and it was good but I couldn't eat it all. You will get picked on for not finishing your plate. My grandmother had the fried chicken and thought it was wonderful... and got a clean plate sticker for the disappearance of her chicken.
