MR trip reports

Just curious... Did anyone see any whales off the ship?

yup, look on starboard side as leaving Cabo. Also dolphins and the concierge told me that while they were tendering a school of rays was jumping around the tender (I did not see them).

This may be a dumb question but has anyone participated in or gone to the talent show? My 8 year old is thinking of participating but wants to know what the prize is.

My daughter did this when she was 5 and sang a song from Enchanted. There were no prizes but each kid get a "certificate" with their name on it at the end.

It was interesting, but not at all what I expected. I wouldn't plan my day around it, but it is in the middle of the afternoon on a sea day so there may not be too much going on anyway. I would get the tickets and then cancel the night before if the navigator had an activity listed that I didn't want to miss. If you cancel your slot will go to someone on the wait list, but I don't think the tickets really matter since they didn't even ask to see ours.

:thumbsup2 Thank you for the info. I appreciate it. :)

Looking for any reviews of the Paradise Beach Adventure excursion in PV. Thank you!! :thumbsup2

We are members and it is a very nice resort. The beach is near by and the workers are very friendly and the Drinks are GREAT! They also have tigers and Bird you can see.

The Edge has bee up and running o the Wonder since mid December now.:thumbsup2

Someone posted pics on here..... I'll see if I can find the post. The Edge is for ages 11to 13.

We were on the 2-night Cruise to Nowhere, and our 12-yo son spent lots of time in Edge and loved it. They had a late-night sports activity for the boys up on deck 10 on the 2nd night that he really enjoyed. Our 8-yo daughter enjoyed Oceaneer's Lab, and they texted me via the Wave Phone when she wanted to get checked out.

Honeymooned here almost 10 years ago and it was wonderful! :lovestruc I'm sure it's still great. :)

We are members of "Paradise Village" as well. We will be spending a week there at Christmas, so enjoyed the ship on the Puerto Vallarta port day :)

Anyone have there cabin on deck 2? Ours is midship kind of near The Edge and we're worried about noise.

We are a bit concerned as well. We are on deck 2 aft with connecting staterooms and hear there may be a possibility of major vibrations. Nervous to say the least. If it's a crappy cabin my DH will never let me hear the end of it

We are also mid ship. When I booked it The Edge was just meeting rooms, no problem. Now it's the club for 11-13yr olds. I'm kind of worried. I love kids but....never would have chose that cabin if I knew what it was going become. :scared1:
