mr toads wild ride?????

someone asked me if i ride that when i go to wdw. i've never heard of it. am i missing it?

It's closed...Replaced by the Pooh ride in Fantasy Land a couple years ago.

That's true, it is still in DL! I'm glad too. I was upset when it closed at WDW, it was the very first ride me and my family went on at Disney, so it has a soft spot in our hearts. But, I must admit, Pooh is a really good ride!

I love that part too. I always thought it was funny, come to Disneyland, and go to Hell.

ETA: I just have to add that I'm quite sure that Disneyland really is my inlaw's idea of hell...

I wasn't really fond of that ride and I loved the winnie ride so I wasn't so sad when they did the change.

i used to love mr toads wild road as a kid, whipping through london. i hope to bring my fiance to disneyland to try it, he never got the chance at wdw. i also miss 20,000 leagues under the sea which closed at wdw but is in japan.

It was closed more than a couple of years ago. I would say at least five. We went on it in Disneyland almost four years ago and I was happy to be able to enjoy it again. It was one of my favorite rides.

I loved Mr Toad, just to get a fix, I recently rented the movie from Netflix. My next Disney trip is going to be to DL and guess what the first ride will be.

OMG I did not know it was still at DL !!!

It was my DS fave ride when he was 2 1/2 !!!!!(he's 11 now)

I can't let him know or he will want to go to California!!!

NIce article......when we went to wdw last summer I enjoyed looking for the pic of Toad handing the "deed" to pooh....

The Pooh ride was cute...(Not like the Journey to imagination change)
but I missed Mr. Toad.......
I will always treasure the memory of my DS 2 1/2 as he rode Toad!

Hopefully the DL one will be there if we ever get to CA.

Ya gotta love the TOAD!! The last time we were in DL, the Mr. Toad statue was roped off and missing, so I asked the CM where he was. He told me toad was on vacation. "Disney World?" I asked. The CM gave me a wink and a nod. Even toads go on vacation.
