Mr. Potato Head????

I have read on other posts that you do not have to purchase a Mr. Potato head from disney. But how do you take it into the parks? Do you have to tell the store clerks that you are bringing in your own Mr. Potato Head? Can you have the face removed or do you have to have the original pieces that came with the toy? I went out and bought 2 today for the kids.

Any advice is more that welcome. We leave in the morning and will be on Disney Property in the afternoon. YEAH. I can hardly contain my self.

we left our head in the room, there are heads at the store you can try stuff on. Then we took our box of stuff back to the room and played.

I did the same thing as Abby, .. I was bummed that I couldn't find the mickey ears,hands etc though.

We didn't bring our potato head's to California. They stayed at home. I just bought 3 boxes of accessories...

The CM in the Enginears store said a lot of people purchase the Darth Tater or the Spud Trooper, and buy a box of accessories. So you end up with a potato + plenty of accessories.
