OK call me compulsive but I collect Mr Potato Head pieces from all over the parks- WDW, DLR-Ca, and even the World of Disney store in Manhattan has their own unique pieces. Does DLR-P have any pieces of the famous guy?
Thanks!
I did see a stall in the middle of the big Disney Store in the Village at DLP selling Mr. Potato Head parts (the same deal as at WDW - one price, just how much can you cram into a box), but didn't notice if there were any special DLP exclusive parts.
My son and I bought some from the Studios shop (the big one to the left of the main entrance forecourt) last month, lot's of choice but no Star Wars when we were there (or if there was I'm sick now!)
Again it was how much you could cram in the box - Top Tip, open his 'bum' and cram a load of bits in there before you put it in the box!
Thanks for the tip, its the one of many gifts I regret not buying on the last trip, I have a bad tendency to think I'll pop back for this on the last day and forget.
When i bought mine from the studios last year, me and my friend were struggling to fit everything inside the box until this nice french lady showed up the "bum" method!
If you already have the 'head' at home then just fill the box with all the bits and don't put the head in! We crammed two boxes full in March - I think I remember approx 70-80 pieces. There were no special DLRP pieces - just the normal things plus a micky chocolate lolly, mickey balloon, mickey sorcerers hat etc. But nothing I can think of that relates specifically to DLRP.
ahh man! I was hoping for really cool DLP pieces! I'm a teacher and my kiddos and co-workers love playing with the new peices that I bring back. Hopefully there will be some Star Wars pieces. I've never seen those! Manhattan has some really unique pieces if you ever get a chance to visit.... 5th Ave in the upscale shopping district.
Atleast I'll have a valid excuse for HAVING to go to the Studios (my husband heard mixed reviews and decided we only needed to see the Kingdom).
