My son and his cousins dragged out the Disney-themed Mr. Potato Head parts today, so I thought I'd look up what is currently available. We are going to DL and DCA in September for the first time in six years.

But it looks like these are no longer available?!? That is such a disappointment! I was looking forward to getting more parts.

I remember once, in the Piece of Eight shop in DL, I was able to get a plastic skull and fill it with fun little boy things, like bugs, eyeballs, plastic compasses, etc, but the last time we went, that was gone, too. That was also a bummer, because the skill is really cool. You could pull out some of the eyeballs and stick them right in the empty sockets. I had picked up more than one type of eyeball, and one of the different pairs was squishy, with red "blood" inside. Doesn't that sound totally boy?

We are going next month and I feel so ill-prepared this time!

My son got the regular Mr Potato head in the store exiting the Toy Story ride, they also had some Star Wars themed ones there

Some of the things the kids think are fun are build your own light sabers at Star Traders. DS is 12 and likes collecting smashed pennies and pins.

I was seriously bummed to note no potato head parts at DL. I dress mine up for Halloween and am always looking for new costumes for them...nothing, nada, zippo at the World of Disney store in 2012  And I've noticed the selection going downhill at DTD at WDW. I guess kids these days are too cool to play with potato heads.

Wish they would sell the Star Wars parts separate. I'd love to get the Yoda parts! It's pretty fun dressing Darth Tater up in Malecifient's horns or some Mouse ears and Cindy's slippers...you can also use his cape and bits of the Halloween Mr. Potato Head they sell at Target to make a Count Spudula...

I've never heard of DL having the the pick your parts for Mr. Potato Head thing like they have at WDW.

My DS and my DH loved the build your own light saber thing. My kids still play with them all the time. Very cool.

I wish they had them too! We bought a box full last year but didn't get any arms. I didn't know you needed Disney arms to hold the drinks, mickey bars etc!

They had the Star Wars Stuff separately at Once upon a Toy. Not sure about Yoda but they had light sabers and Darth Vader anyway.

I know this is an old thread, but does anyone know if this is still the case, no potato head parts at DLR? Not even at DTD? I have a box full from WDW and I think now that I have kids they would really enjoy picking out some new pieces.

They never came back after the store was removed to build BVS.

The Potato parts also used to be sold at the Gag Factory/Five and Dime in Toontown -- that's where I got mine years ago. They were simultaneously sold there and in DCA. Then they became exclusive to DCA. And then they disappeared forever. I wonder if we might see a return of the parts when TS4 comes out in 2017?

Yeah, my family finally got to go back to DL and DCA /2014 Mr. Potato Head parts to be found anywhere
