Are you referring to the cardboard boxes that you can pile all you can stuff of the Mr. Potato Head and accessories?
I got mine at Once Upon a Toy, however, the store you come upon while getting off Dinosaur in AK also has them available. I believe that more places are offering them around DW, as it has been a few years since I bought mine from OUAT in DTD.
Once Upon a Toy in DTD but they do sell them at a couple of other spots throughout the world. But the largest and coolest selection is at Once Upon a Toy. The cm's are great about helping fill the box to the fullest. have fun
i saw them in MGM back in FEb but can't remember the store, i think it was on the corner of the street leading to fantasmic. My DD3 at time made up a potato head then they displayed it at the store. she was thrilled
I took a picture of all my Disney Mr. Potato head parts. I got all this in 3 boxes.
I have more fun trying to fill the box then I do with the parts. LOL
I decorate my Mr. Potato Head every month with a different outfit.
I'll also post what I got in one box my last trip again.
We specifically went to Once upon a Toy to get potato head parts for my daughter. I saw the $46 box and rejected it thinking we would never need/find that many different parts and we opted for the $19 box. Well. . . .3parks and 3 boxes later I found out we in fact COULD find that many different pieces and BUY them!
By the time we made it to Toon town and our 3rd box I realized each store has a couple of different pieces that aren't at the other stores, so it wasn't a big deal that I spent SIXTY DOLLARS ON MR. POTATO HEAD PARTS
The CMs were AWESOME about helping stuff the boxes or considering a box "closed" for purposes of purchasing. My DD plays with the parts all the time, they are sturdy, safe toys, and a wonderful reminder of WDW since they are something we can't get anywhere else. All in all it was a great purchase.
The box is $19. I wouldn't buy a potato head at WDW, takes up too much room. You can buy one of those at Wal-Mart for $5 with clothes if you need one (or an extra one after you buy all the cool accessories at WDW )
Once Upon a Toy also has a much larger plastic case you can stuff. It is $46. At the time I thought that was too much.
im really excited about this now. Im going to DL in december and I already convinced DFi to get me parts for my birthday. Does anyone know if they have the large box at Dl?
WOW, I can't believe how many parts there are! We did this a few years ago in DL and I have been looking forward to adding to our collection! It's such a fun way to remember our trip. Thanks for the tips about packing the box with "parts only." I never would have thought about that.
