I recall seeing a Mr Potato head station at this store this summer. Does anyone remember how much it costs for the special parts?

I already have the potato, I was wondering if I could just buy the parts....I remember reading that you could fill a box or something for a certain price, as much as you could fit in. Did i dream this. I love Mr Potato Head, even more when he is Disney related!!

It is $18 I am pretty sure. Yes you can buy a box of parts. I am sure someone will post but I think there is something with the arms and legs that are different between the Disney potato head and the regular one.

We have a potato head that's about ten years old, and when we went in April we bought a box of parts. I didn't expect that they'd all fit - but they did! I'm not sure what year Toy Story came out, but I think our version was not the Toy Story edition one - I think it was earlier.

I'm fairly sure it was $18 a box last time we went...... Make sure you get all the different kinds of arms - some are made so they can hold the Disney-only pieces like the autograph books and Mickey ice creams. :-)

Yup its $18 with parts. Once upon a toy also has an add'l part thats the Dumbo ride, its soooo cute! I can't remember how much it was though. I think $8 or $9.

Oh, I forgot about those! I usually avoid those extras, but did get a Buzz Lightyear ride car (one of our fave rides - and there wasn't a TOT car, lol) and a yellow WDW rain poncho (just too darn funny looking to pass up)

In May the box (filled to the brim!!) was $18. The Dumbo was $5.00, the Buzz ride went into the box! The Dumbo is ADORABLE!!!

I have my potato dressed in his Buzz gear/ride in my cube at work!! Don't forget to get the "Buzz gun"!!

Since we are spending Christmas at WDW this year (leaving in 10 days!!!), dh and I decided to do all of our shopping for the kids there. Mr. Potato Head is one of the toys we were planning on purchasing for the little ones. Just the other day, I found an old Mr. Potato Head in the attic. I was surprised by how much fun the kids had with it because my older ds never paid much attention to it. I cannot remember if it's one from WDW or not, so now I'm worried about parts.

I love the Mr. Potato Head parts. My Dad got DS a box when he was on a business trip and since he didn't have anything else to do he figured out how to really maximize how many parts he could get in the box. ;) We then picked up another box on our last trip. DS has probably the biggest PH collection of anyone his age around here. :)

We already bought DS a potato head just so we can do the parts at WDW! I can't wait!! I hope he enjoys it as much as I plan to! ;)

Our six year old son just loves his potato head stuff. We picked up a box of Disney potato head parts for him back in 2002 and he still plays with all of it. It was the best investment we ever made. I can't wait to go back and buy another box for him.

Our eight year old daughter is dreaming of the day she can get her box of My Little Pony things. She has been asking for this for quite a while now. I guess that will be another purchase we will have to make.

I have to admit I have must as much fun picking the things out as the kids do. :teeth:

We loved shopping for the parts. We filled the box up enough to barely close it. It actually tore as we left the store. The CM checking us out made sure that all the parts were compatible so we wouldn't be surprised when we got home. The kids now love the parts and don't let the parents play with them too much.

Last week, the Character shop at the Premium Outlet mall had the ponchos for 2 dollars apiece.
