Mr. Potato Does Disney

Make sure you also put some disney arms into your box. These are special arms which are designed to "hold" the other pieces like the mickey head balloons and ice cream bars.

We bought the Mr Potato head and box with accessories the last time we were at WDW, did not know about the my little pony station do they have those in the parks or just at DTD. we got our mr potato head at Mousegears in Epcot. ALso, does anyone know when we go back if you can just buy the parts, there were so many more we wanted they are all so cute?

Yes, this is my question too. Not sure if I'm missing the point. So I"ll ask again...

Can I just purchase the box and fill it with acessories? Is the cost still $18 either way, with or without Mr. Potatoe Head? :confused3

Make sure you purchase some arms at Disney. The hands that come with the regular potato head won't hold the Disney items like the Mickey Ice Cream etc.

My cousin collects old toys and she bought a bunch of Disney potato head stuff for her potato head display and none of the hands would hold the Disney items.

Just FYI.

I think the 18.00 is just for the parts. I think I will get the Mr. Potato head here and just take the case down to be filled. Someon mentioned that you can do a potato head on the computor, that sounds like fun. I might do that for our little boy. I'm kinda of going back and forth with the MLP. Does anyone know what kind of things they have for them? I might just get this done at Epcot, instead of dragging everyone to DTD. When you do the stuffing for Potato Head is it one person at a time, or can everyone go at the sametime?

You can get a box and just fill it with parts. I bought a couple basic Mr. Potato head kits at Walmart, and by new parts whenever I visit WDW. Last trip I picked up a surfer kit (surfboard and swim trunks ) and a holiday kit ( birthday hat, bunny ears-too cute!, vampire wig and teeth). I keep these at school for my kindergarteners to play with :)

oops... forgot to ask- has anyone seen the Darth Tater parts yet?

I haven't yet - but I'm going to look for Darth tomorrow at Toy Works, local toy store - bet they're sold out!

I've read the other web sites - and yes - you can just by parts, think I saw this on Mouse Savers.

does anyone have pictures of there Potato Head? Please and Thank You!

The Mr. Potato thing is actually very cute. For something like 20 bucks you get a Mr. Potato Head (they supply it) and you get to fill him up with whatever parts you want. They have bins and bins of different parts, including cute mickey gloves and ears :earsboy: :goodvibes !!! I have seen this Potato head display in Animal Kingdom, at a giftshop by Dinosaur (i think), and at the POP century resort gift shop/food court. I haven't seen it anywhere else. Hope this helps! Good luck! :wizard:

Thanks for the info on Darth Tater- I'll be looking for him when we go in July :)

k, fess up, who plays with this guy, your little ones? Or YOU MOMMIES & DADDIES??? EH EH HEY? :rotfl:

I have done this at least once a year for the last 3 years. I NEVER buy a body, JUST the parts. The box must close, but some CM's allow more "buldge" then others.... Also the parts change from year to year, and there are some things that I got the first trip that they no longer have. So I will need to keep filling the boxes.... My youngest child is 13-oldest is almost 21 :rolleyes1. I have got special seasonal hats with Mickey "Ears", a Buzz Lightyear Blaster, and several other things that are I have not seen the last 2-3 trips. So if you see some thing special get it NOW!!! It almost seems like some of the special things are only put out at some times - kinda like a promotion, I got the Buzz Blaster right after the ride opened. And I have a Coon Skin hat, and of course a Apprentices Magic cap... I can usually get 6 pair of mickey hands, and arms , several shoes, and lots more, usually at least 50 items, without the body. I think that last time I cramed almost 70 parts in, and used a lot as Christmas presents... so it was reasonable...hahahah
