Mr. Potato Does Disney

As of the end of our last trip June 3ish, I had stuffed and bought myself at least 4 or 5 boxes of Potatoe Parts. I have also help a ton of other people stuff them at Once Upon A Toy. It is so fun!
I have given parts to some of the teachers at local schools for there families and classes. More reason to get to stuff another one.

Every time I go I swear I won't buy another bow of PP's ( Potatoe Parts), but they always have something I "need" and don't have...

Oh, well! There are worse thing to spend money on!

mimif1- i love the pic of all your potato stuff.....do you have any pics of the My Little Pony stuff? I'm so excited about doing this when we go. We probably will do both since i have a boy & a girl. I think they will be very excited.

I just got back home last week and yes, the Mr. Potato Head pieces are still there at all the stores mentioned above at the low, low cost of $18 a box. Be warned - it is addictive. Yes I'll admit to actually packing my own potato from home so that we (read "I") could play w/ it before we got home. I ended up with 2 boxes with over 60 pieces total. Plus, I convinced my mom to buy a box for my sister (age 32). She loved it!

When we were there, the CMs at DTD mentioned that they are expecting 30 new accessories in July! He also mentioned that if you call the WDW phone number, that they have filled boxes for people before and shipped them!

I can't wait to see the new pieces!

Cannot wait till August so that I can get this new obsession!!!! I bought one for my DGD on the second trip that we took with her. Then on the last trip we bought another...didn't know that we could just fill the box. She is a teenager now and so she "thinks" she is too old for MPH. But the other day I saw her on the computer and she was checking out the site and was making a list of the parts that she doesn't have yet!!!! This trip we will just fill the boxes!!!!

I've been hearing about this potato head Disney thing for weeks now. Something about you buy the potato head, and then you get to stuff him with as much stuff as you can. Is there a store in the Disney area that does this? Which store is it? Or is it another store that does this, because I heard someone mention there is a store in NYC, but I don't live up there. Can you buy a potato head from them, or do you have to buy one ahead of time (like one from toysrus). How much does this cost? If anyone has any info on this I would greatly appreciate it.

If you can buy the Potato heads at home - you'll be able to fit more parts into the box. Choosing extra arms, things to hold, etc - vs trying to fit a body and then buy just the fun things. If you need to play right away - just bring your home Spud with with you in your luggage.

Are the ponies only at DTD? I heard once on here that they are also in the store in Toontown but no one has been able to confirm or deny that. Thanks!

I just don't know if I can find time in our 5 day schedule to go to DTD. Unless we decide against MVMCP.

In Jan 05 we did the Lil Pony thing at DTD and we got Mickey shapped balloons, princess bureaus and beds, hair accessories, raincoats, skirts and we were able to jam 4 ponies in there as well. Make sure you really plan your box to maximize your items. Put stuff inside other things if you can. All you have to do is close the box. I hear they also have Princess accessories and a pirate treasure boxes over at the new DTD stores that are the same concepts.
