Is anybody dressing up for halloween? Coz i see that pirate night is different.

I think we might. And dress up for pirates. It is going to be fun.

It's settled! We are driving to the cruise the morning of. Then, when we return we will spend the day at aquarium of the pacific. After that we will stay the night near disneyland and go to DL the day after the cruise! Ryans birthday is that day so it's perfect!

We have decided stay a few days after and go to Disneyland and Universal.

I have lots of vacation days to use, so we opted to change our flights and stay a few days.

Should be fun!

Our initial meet would be 3:05p.m in the Promenade Lounge. This works for anyone who would like to attend the raffel at the spa (great prizes!)

Kidlette -the baby can come, I'm sure no one minds. I totally understand wanting to spend all your time with her. I was very much like that with my first. Plus she's super cute! You can grab a smoothie/or drink of choice. Very much not limited to just coffee Same applies to anyone else that may not be a coffee drinker.

We will be there for the initial meet.

I am also in on the ladies get-to-gether. I don't drink coffee either but can order something else. Yes, Jessica, please bring your precious girl.

The scavenger hunt sounds like fun.

Is anybody doing anything at Puerto Vallarta? Im kinda interested in the Los Veranos zipline tour but was curious if anybody else was doin it....

We are doing the Paradise Beach Adventure on Day 4 and the Cabo Resort Beach Getaway on day 6.

On day 5 we are going to rent a jet ski and cruise around ourselves, do some shopping and try and find Cabo Wabo.

Sorry, it looks like I am pretty lonely with all the posts here. LOL

We are very excited for this trip. Lots of firsts for this old married couple. We enjoy being with each other even after 25 years.

Liquor & wine tastings are extra- $15/per person. We did mojito and coffee liquors last time. We highly rec. The mojito one. It was sooo much fun! Spa treatments are extra. I think all the tours & scavenger hunts are free.

You can call DCL if you want to request to eat at the resturants in a certain order. You can also try & request first or second seating if you want that changed. Nothing is guaranteed, but they will try. You can also try with guest services once you are on board. We are main seating too I'm keeping that since we have the kids

Hmmm... wine tastings are extra, spa tours are free...spa treatments are extra. Almost anything on the schedule is free (unless otherwise indicated). The stuff off the grid sometimes costs.

Sorry I can't be more specific -- but figure anything with spa, merchandise or liquor is going to cost.

We had the rule for my last FE that anyone who changed cabins last min/upgraded at port had the responsibility to notify the other cabins themselves, I.e. slip a paper under everyones door. This actually happened to us because our room got flooded. Is everyone comfortable with that rule? I don't mind helping if needed.

I was thinking maybe doing family board games in either Promenade or Diversions, what do you think? The kids could play with each other and so could the adults, or a mixture of families as well.

In Cabo, you can sort of "choose your own adventure". When you get off the tender, there are guys all on the dock just vying for your business. We did parasailing for a fraction of the cost of Disney.
You could take a water taxi to Medano Beach and have lunch and lie around, or walk into town. It is very safe.

We are driving from Sacramento, CA with two children and my mom. All who love to go to the bathroom at least every hour or two. So I figure we have a boarding time of 11:15 or 11:30am or as soon as the ships is open for boarding. So I thought that would give us enough time. We thought about driving down on Sat night after my husband gets off work but then we get there at 2am and have to book 2 rooms for 5 people (not spliting my family up) for only 6 hours of use. I would rather spend my money elseware.

Thanks for the ideas in Cabo. I have always wanted to parasail. How much was it? Does it cost anything to go to Medano Beach?

OK NOW I AM SUPER DUPER excited. AHHHH. We also just booked a vacation in January to go to Hawaii. My mom is from there so we are taking her back to visit relatives. What a great two things to look forward to.

I think we are totally winging it in Cabo. I just got a new job & start in Sept, so I may have more funds available for fun. I am going to research some more excursions, but more than likely we will wing it because you can do stuff with all the people lined up at port waiting to take you. Plus you can negotiate.

We are in Sacramento too!!! We would probably be doing the same drive. I feel the same way about the hotel situation. We drove last time. We left at midnight, drove straight to Palm Springs where my in laws live and dropped the kids off (they didn't go) Then drove to port. We got to port at our time 11:30.

I've never Parasailed in Cabo, I did in Mazatlan YEARS ago, so I don't remember the cost, but I do REALLY like it. It so peaceful and serene

For Medano beach you can A) Walk - Free B) take a cab (not sure cost, but not far or expensive) or C) take a boat (we did the glass bottom) & get a mini tour on the way- thats what we did. It was like $20 for both of us- plus tip

Hawaii is sooooo exciting! Stockton just opened up some direct flights there though Allegiant! Hubs has never been so its on our wish list. It was my senior trip and we had a blast! Congrats!!

TY!! We negotiated our water taxi boat down. BTW for the water taxi it was round trip. He asked what time to pick us back up. He was very promt.
