I'm here. Haven't moved or anything. I dunno if something has happened, not with me anyhow.

Grant starts school next Tuesday and Wed 1/2 day and then goes to full day.

Holy cannoli, I have that new reality show with Tommy Lee on...by accident...and he is HOT! I didn't expect him to look that good. WOW!

I went to the DR today. I have a high cervix , am farther along than originally thought (1-2 weeks) and got to hear the 'lil boogers hb. EEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!! 153bpm, for whatever that's worth. I know some people believe the sex is related to the hb, so think what you will. There it is!

Let me see---what I have been up to this past week;
---saw my old GM at her new store (annual August switch for that company...she wanted the newer one anyway)
---Got my new frames so I can see now (NC Beast has learnt not to leave me alone at the Mall when I don't have my glasses on). But, I can locate Lindt chocolate store at the mall without my glasses. Yep, this chick knows her way well even with bad stigmatism.

---got my hair done so my folks be surprised next week. They love short hair on me. So.......I went for it and chopped 13". Still got the braided pony tail to donate.

---Oh...today we are paying off the DVC rental (ISP and e-mail are almost fixed).

Waiting for you to get back and tell us about your trip !

The trip was great. We had so much fun. We only went to the parks one day, but we gave 'em hell. We left at 7:45 am & got on the shuttle to return to the hotel at 9:45 pm.

How were the crowds? They weren't really bad in the morning, but progressively got heavier & heavier. We went to CA around 4pm & it wasn't too crowded.

How was the weather

? The weather was beautimous. Sun, sun & more sun

What did you ride ? We rode, Jungle Cruise, Indiana Jones, Splash Mountain, Pooh, Haunted Mansion, BTMRR, Matterhorn, Carousel, Small World, Star Tours, Mr. Toad, Pinnochio, Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear, Tower of Terror, Tough to Be a Bug, Playhouse Disney, Sun Wheel, Golden Zephyr, Mulholland Madness, & Grizzly River Run. I think that's about it. We had fast passes for Soarin', but when we went to get in line, they said one side had just broken down & they were having problems with the other side so even with fast pass it was going to be over a 1/2 hour wait. It was late & DH was with Lainie & I was afraid she might have a melt down, so we got outta line. How great is Grizzly River Run? We rode it late, so there was NO line at all. We took turns taking Josh on it. That's the best water ride I've ever ridden. We also saw the Electrical Parade.

Where did you eat ? We had breakfast on Sunday (the day we didn't go to the parks) at PCH Grille with Lilo & Stitch. It was really, really good. We had lunch at Blue Bayou on Monday. We really liked it. We had dinner at Strips, Dips & Chips. MMMmmmmmm gooooood.

What was the funniest thing that happened ? hmm, I dunno. Oh wait, I know. Lainie fell asleep in her stroller, so my dad & DH walked around with her while Josh & I went to ride Mr. Toad. When we found them, they were sitting there watching Peter Pan & Wendy meeting people. My dad said it was a "Christmas Story moment" when one mom was dragging her screaming in fear child up to meet Peter Pan.

What was the scariest thing? Please see funniest thing.

What was the most magical ? Lainie meeting Sleeping Beauty & later getting to ride the golden horse on the Carousel.

Did you see any of the famous Disneyland ? I don't think so.

How many of thesedid you eat? None.

Did you see and ? I don't think we saw , but was at the Lilo & Stitch breakfast.

Any words of wisdom for me, since I'm heading over in a week and a half? Are you kidding me? You are the DL QUEEN The only advice I'd give is to get there at opening & ride as much as you can while the lines are short.

I will post some pictures later. Imagestation is down right now.

I'm feeling blue sent Sam off with hubby to college today. I cried and cried. I was sitting thinking that she will never be my baby again and when she comes back to visit she will be a young woman. whaaaaaaaaa

I ate already 6 cookies this am. My friend brought over 2 doz to drown my sorrows. i haven't eaten near enough. I should send this in to a country music song writer

" I'm sitting here drowning my sorrows in a bunch of cookies....
Will be fat when my baby gets back from school
If the cookies don't work I'll move on over to ice cream
because everyone knows chocolate chip rules....

Cheeringmom You poor thing...you're making me cry too I think I need a cookie. I know you miss her already but just think, she'll miss you too and realize how great you are and that'll make her homecomings all the more special...did that help at all...I couldn't think of anything else to say other than I know you've done a great job and raised her right so she'll make good choices and do well in college...how bout that...feeling any better yet No?...maybe I need to come over and share your cookies...a truly good friend would do that ya know

OK - this has to be a hit and run - I am so sorry about that but I have to get back to work.

CMom - I want to relay to you that when I went to college was when my Mom and I became best friends. I hope that helps. It was a huge turning point in our relationship. And I love our relationship ever since.

DHB - girl, we need a drink!!! It will be OK, at least its not ALL DAY like I am away from my kids. I love all the cool things that my son comes home and talks to me about - you will love all his stories of his friends.

By the way - 'BOUT TIME YOU GOT YOUR BUTT OVER HERE!!! Its super nice to hear from you again. I missed ya!!!!

So Hi.. hope everyone is doing well, and no one is sick.. and had a great weekend.. Eric had a birthday yesterday.. I didn't get home from the airport until after 8 pm.. but Geoff had made dinner and they all waited until I got home to celebrate..

Talk to you later.. but tonight I have to drive football carpool, clean up a bit and then I have a meeting for the Troop Budget for next year. Tomorrow night I have troop committe meeting.. so i have no idea when I will get to the grocery store.. oh well!!!

I think I was on about trip number 15 before I saw them and then it was 2x in the same day. One was in the bushes near the Casey Jr train and another was sunning him/herself on one of the canoes over by Critter Country. Much harder to spot than hidden Mickeys

DHB I got it on the t-shirt thread. It's a 'sticky' thread on the Theme Parks forum. DISers designing custom shirts for each other.

Castlegazer It's the Red Socks logo, with Mickey ears on the circle emblem in the center, with Walt Disney World across the top. I hate it when I can't see the photos too!

They've done all kinds of Mickey football player ones also...with the colors and insignia of the assorted pro/college teams, some superimposed over the appropriate stadium.

Hey, thanks for that description. I wish I could see it - do you have any clue what page it was on? I can then go get it this weekend. My husband would love it. If not, I can sift through, no big deal.

llebrekniT - I am totally into digital scrapbooking now. I haven't printed my first page, but this is MUCH better for me and I actually do it - I have been waaaay lax in doing my paper scrapbooking. I have good intentions and then it never happens.
