I'm really sorry Oddball...I'm the one who asked MD if he'd heard from you and Caroline lately. I had no idea that he and OF were gonna bring up such a sensitive topic, rub salt in the wound, so to speak...we're past that now and hopefully they'll be big enough to just let it be. Please know we've missed you and you are welcome here anytime. So how are you and Caroline? When does school start? I've heard you've done well with the Waspadi(sp?) challenge thingie and want to hear all about it!

Hi all. LEW how is your son today? That fever has gone on too long. What does the doc say??

KADATEN how are you? How is Tampa? ( you are in Tampa right? I'm losing my memory!!) Hot and buggy just like here. We had one of those "palmetto" bugs (fancy named for a huge flying cockroach) on our cathedral ceiling last night and he got into the beam. now he is up there and I am scared he will crawl out and fall on me while I am sitting on the couch.! ugh

ODD good to see our tagteens. Tell my skimming buddy to stop by and say HI!

Lots to do today. Sam is going to work and I've got some major unpacking to do before I call the bug guy to come out. I cannot live in Fl forever unless I get hypmotized or something to get over the fear of those bugs. Help!!! I will not be afraid, I will not be afraid.....

Well, I'm good NOWHERE NEAR unpacked.....but good. Tampa is suiting us well.
And well, Tampa is HOT and BUGGY! 100º+ heat index nearly every day We cope with that by going to the pool every morning for 2-3 hours Then hibernating indoors during the heat of the afternoon.... Buggy....luckily no palmetto bugs (yet) but lots of spiders and ants. Already caved and called the bug man who will be here every 2 months

Already been to WDW for 2 Saturdays and spent last Friday through Wednesday there, too (And let me tell you, do NOT stay at the Wyndham Palms Resort, but that's another story.) Walt celebrated his birthday there! Fun trip, though the kids could have been a little less cranky....but I think the heat was getting to us all....

Kids had orientation yesterday and start school on Monday! Maybe then I'll be able to unpack some of these boxes and get some stuff up on the walls.....

SO, how's FL treatin' you? I think I read you had some trouble with the hurricane, but couldn't find the post with details... Is everything ok??? Everybody and everything (house) make it through safe and sound, I hope!

'Course, the only folks who ever called me that were parents when upset or my kindergarden teachers (that school "didn't believe" in using nick names ) but I *do* love the name! Mind if I ask what middle name you put with it? I missed her birth (has it been that long?!?) and so am out of the loop on her special needs, but you sound like such a devoted mommy! {{{HUGS}}} to you both and I do hope you continue to find all the help she needs!

Have you guys picked dates for your Disnelyand trip yet? You'll be able to get lots of advice here. DHB is there now, geffric just got back, and I'm heading out in about 4 weeks. Anybody want to fly to Phoenix and go with me?? Not sure if little sister can come, she just got a new job and has to work some weekends. Don't know why but I'm a little nervous about the drive out there alone BUT not at all for the drive back??? Go figure?? I think if I do end up driving alone, I'll just leave earlier than originally planned for my daylight drivnig...even though it will be HOT.

So, I'm going to have 2 Cheesecake Factory places within 45 minutes drive----I usually we go through R. Mount when we go up north. I could use extra $$$---we are becoming Deluxe snobs. Did last storms finally wake you up?---our house shook a bunch of times between 9 pm and 5 am.
