MR BACK's Back!

Whew so glad everyone is ok geffric. My heart goes out to the widows too.

It's my anniversary today (8yrs) and we were going to go out to eat tnight, but then......
Tye is home sick again today. I thought it was croup, again, but the Dr says Bronchitis. He's pretty miserable and I was not able to be home. Daddy got to love his little sick butt to pieces (a job I love to do when they are ill). At 4am we were in the kitchen freezer to open his lungs so he could breathe. :( Second time in 3.5 weeks the kid has been on Zithromax and now Dimetapp too. Won't eat, feverish and pukes up the medicine almost every time.

Anyhow, DH stopped and picked up some sirloins, a pineapple, flowers, CD and an Oreo Pie. Mmmmmmmmmmm!!!! The man doesn't cook at all, but the steaks were AWESOME, the pineapple he had to core and cut up and it was excellently soooo sweet and the pie......yummy yummy. I could eat it and the pineapple all now. :teeth: He did a great job. I made the taters. :rolleyes1 Maybe I should let him do dinner way more often. This was definitely a home run!!!!

:wave2: monoraildude

ibounce sorry about the OT. I totally understand that because it happens to the hourly people where I am too. They have to work 40hrs straight time before OT kicks in. It sucks because most of the people who put the time in, really need the money. I feel for them. IMO, if you have sick time, holiday time or vacation time it should still allow for OT. What's the difference really, if you have the time to take? Stupid rules.

MonorailDude, FYI, I have it on good authority that you were right. They figured that they could outsmart the mods... The mods have lots of good tools to keep such a thing from happening. Live and learn. Oh well, you still have us!!!!!

Oh well, oddball27, if you read this, please remember we all miss you...

:jumping2:
Come on, leave it alone and let it be! :sad2:

I'm in the mood for some hot chocolate. I think I put some fiery haberano sauce on my hotdogs tonight. I could make some kicked up chili.
Yep, she's definitely lost it  :rotfl2:

:( Poor sweet Tye...no kid should have to go thru all that :sad2:
.
...but on a good note, your husband ROCKS! ::yes:: What a sweetie...and THAT's exactly what an anniversary should be all about...two people who love and support one another(with yummy steaks and pineapple too :p) :lovestruc ....and NOT some fancy, smancy over the top type of celebrating....

Yep, makes me want to  vomit!

Thank goodness my good friend made a tape of Winnie the Pooh for Tye. He loves it and can't get enough. Watches it over and over every day he can. The big one likes it quite a bit too. It's helping pass the time for him while he lays there like he should be (which is often hard with sick 2yr olds). Kids usually just don't know when to rest. This is a HUGE bonus!!!:flower3:

Hot peppers include a variety of species from the genus Capsicum. There are numerous varieties, colors, and shapes. Hot peppers are easily grown in the home garden as an annual or perennial. The Scoville scale was developed by Wilbur Scoville in 1912 as a heat index for peppers. While the actual heat intensity varies within each variety, there are general recorded ranges for most peppers. The most intense punguency currently recorded is 577,000, from a variety of Habanero pepper. Sweet peppers rate 0, and mild peppers rate only 500-2500.

Good morning everyone!

Two more weeks and these kids are back to school! :sad2: Makes me sick, sick, sick to think of it. But on a positive note, I should have more ME time!

Speaking of sick! Poor little Tye. That's just the worst. Being sick in summer, yuck. I hope he's better quick and back to running around in circles, like only a two year old can. I'm glad he's got that Pooh tape to keep him occupied. Pooh Bear is good medicine.::yes::

And HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!! How many is it now? Sounds like your man is gettting better by the year! Nice job Mr. Lewski! Um, the home run reference..... I take it the rest of the evening was fun too....

Quickie DHB update: She's having fun, loads of it. I got to hear in GREAT detail yesterday mornig, every stinkin' thing they rode, ate and walked by.   FUN! FUN! FUN! Yippee for DHB! :cheer2:

She said to tell everyone thanks for their suggestions and they ended up eating at the "Dip" place. Grandma and Pa didn't make it to that point, they were wore out 1/2 way through the day. DHB and crew did both parks in one day, getting there at opening and staying til it closed down. In fact, I think they were finally asked to leave. ;)

Off to cheerleading practice. Have a nice day!

Lewski - Catrina has a nebulizer and takes albuterol at the first sign of a cough - hers always goes to her chest. Its been great. It has a Duck mask that we put over her face and she sits and breathes the steamed medicine in. It stinks to give it to her and I hate it, but after her last cold I am true believer in using it. She doesn't have asthma, its just chest rattles when she gets a cold - almost like Bronchitis.

I hope he feels better soon. I totally know what you mean about not being there when they are sick. I hate that. My DH does a great job, but I hate not being there with my babies.

:wave2: Does anyone know where I can get a nice tiera and wand for the Halloween Party?

I wish that it would be hotter outside...:duck:

Just kidding.
Ask Rick!!!! hehehe

Hi all, Geffric, wish I was still in DC. We'd have some fun on the town. Bummer it wasn't last summer. How is Geoff doing??

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY LEW!!!! How are you feeling? I hated being pregnant in the summer. Two of my kids are Oct/Nov babies and I was living in Florida at the time AACK!!

It took me a while to find you all today. Had to go to my mail and look you all up! No fair hiding.

And if an OCT trip is planned, I may meet you all. Let me know!

Gotta run. Just popped by for a sec. Be good

Happy Anniversary Lewski!!!!!!

I hope all is well!!!!!!

Cheeringmom, I talked to Geffric last night about her DSL problem, she is concerned because she hasn't heard from Geoff after the accident. She will be up there on Saturday, and she is patiently missing him...

Oh I had that machine and returned it. Tye has a fish face and I still have the tubing and albuterol. I'd need to go rent the machine again. He's doing better breathing, but all he has done today is lay around lifeless. He's only eaten part of a pop tart, a bite of a cookie, a drink of chicken broth and a tiny bite of toast. Pathetic. I'll be home with him tomorrow. He's watched POOH ALL DAY and DH has had it with the Pooh poo.:sad1:
