MR BACK's Back!

I'm baaaacccckkkk.

had a great trip. No one got sick, the weather was perfect-a little cold the first few days but ended up in the low 80's. But the crowds were up-big time.

They had a lot of "soft openings'. rode Expedition Everest-loved it. DD had its "princess" spa opened. It was cute but couldn't get a ressie for my little one. Lots of fun stuff happening. I absolutely loved Cindy's table this time. They really took great care with the kids. You now get an 8x10 pic of your child/family with Cinderella included in the meal price along with a wand and wishing stars. really nice for the price.

Now that I am home, back to the yard work, cooking, laundry cleaning etc. ugh

BTW Sam's team took first at the American Open Nationals in her division. She got a backpack, a championship jacket etc. She had a great week!

Off to start the day! missed ya all. Anyone hear from Geffric???

Happy Monday everyone!!! :wave2:

It's the start of a new work week. For some it may make you feel like this :guilty: and for some it may feel like this :yay: . I gotta tell you, I sorta feel like this :guilty: (I love work, but I loved being home with my kids more ;) )

Have a good day everyone!!!

:goodvibes Same to you...and how I wish I had a sweet two or seven yr old again...an 11 yr old is great, just doesn't need to be cuddled as much as mom would want :bitelip:

NC Belle Holy Cow!:scared: Did ya'll have the storms we had this morning? Was awoken at 5am by a 90lb furbaby shaking like a leaf :dog:...is Jessie doing okay?

Cadburysmom--- Jessie did pretty good with this morning's storms. She was already zipped in her kennel and hugging her favorite toy.

Hi NC Belle... I got to ride Everest on Saturday.. WOW it is a great ride.. it's like a big Thunder Mountain.. but with attitude..

CADSMOM... you forgot to mention to me about the Chocolate Buffet... That was something... We need to cruise together, although then they would run out of chocolate on the buffet.. :teeth:

Both of my girls are so cuddly and sweet, but my 7yr old is having a hard time understanding that she is 7 and not 17  She always wants to act so much older than what she is - I don't like it :sad2: I don't understand where this is coming from :confused3. I let her watch Lizzie McQuire once in awhile (like a couple times a month, not much), but outside of that, I am very particular on what she watches. Yesterday she came home with a homemade bracelet and said that her boyfriend gave it to her :rolleyes2 . I didn't mind that, but then she said he gave her his phone number so they can talk on the phone - I told her no way!!!! :sad2: Naturally she doesn't understand why and now I'm the bad guy. If it's this way now, what's it going to be like when she's a teenager :scared1: I keep telling myself, live for today and don't think of the future ;)

Hi guys,
I know I haven't been around here for well, ages, at least probably before my last visit to WDW over Christmas and new year. But I thought I'd drop by and say "Hi" mainly because I thought of Cadburysmom today as next week I am going to this http://www.alton-towers.co.uk/themepark/seasonal_events.asp Alton Towers, my favourite coaster park where Pete and I are AP holders are hosting a chocoholic event to comemorate the opening of the new Charlie and the chocolate factory ride (which we rode on the opening day, we were in the first 50 people to ever go on it!!) Anyway the park have constructed the worlds only chocolate volcano!! So Cadburysmom I'll grab some for you!!

So everyone else, how are you? I hope you are all well. Pete and I had an amazing time at WDW over Christmas and New Year. I hope you guys are all doing really well too.

The house is so nice and quiet. Stephanie went to CCD, Kevin ran some errands, and Katie is watching Blues Clues - so I thought, what a nice time to DIS

Good Wednesday morning everyone!!!!

The minute I had a chance, I scoured DCL trip reports and haven't spotted yours yet...read one by the Walt's Suite cruiser who said ya'll had a blast but Grand Cayman weather was a bit rough...hope this didn't affect your excursion :(

 OMG...I know how you feel...my son's in 6th grade and the girls are already calling. :rolleyes2 Maybe my parents were pretty strict when I was younger and have ingrained it into me but girls just weren't allowed to call boys when I was that age so it kinda freaks me out, especially when the girls' moms think it's "cute". We got a call at 9:30 Monday night from a giggly girl and when I told her it was too late for Jordan to be accepting phone calls, she got all embarrassed and wouldn't give her name...as if I didn't have caller ID and knew EXACTLY who the little flirt was...bwahahaa ;)

NC Belle Glad Jessie came thru the storms alright...woof :dog: :)

OF :wave2:

Castlegazer OMG! I'm so jealous! :magnify: Look at your countdown timer! :Pinkbounc ...started packing yet? :boat:
Before I forget, one thing I bring that always helps is an extension cord...I know that sounds weird but there's only one set of outlets in your cabin and if your hairdryer, or whatever, has one of those boxy plugs like mine, it won't fit because it's too close to the countertop. Also, I only bring a short one, but I know others bring a superlong one as it helps if you want to dry your hair in the bathroom and not use the DCL hairdryer provided as they just aren't that powerful, at least not enough to tame my big ol' head of hair that frizzes automatically at the first sign of humidity
