The way I got the free dining was really easy. I called Disney reservations and I told them I already had a reservation and was wondering if I qualified for the free dining. She looked and told me I did and she would make the changes. I should be getting the paperwork for this in the mail this week I am just so excited!!!!! When I called last year, it was to late and I didn't get it This is going to save me so much money!!!! I am also really excited about the CRT this year . Katie will be 3 this year and she will love it!!! Stephanie was 3 the first time we took her to the CRT and she was in awe of the place and the princesses. This will be a very memorable trip .

HI Everyone....I'm BAAAAAAACK!

Jordan's Spring Break was this week and we took a last minute trip up to Washington, DC.....had a blast! Priceline granted us a great rate at an awesome 4-star hotel walking distance from the Mall/Smithsonian. Drove up Mon in time to see the immigration bill protesters..what a sight. Did most of the cool touristy stuff...and visited my old stomping grounds. Loved seeing all the monuments and museums, especially because they were FREE

AND I made it up there and back on one tank of gas...so double !

Geffric Thought of you and Geoff as I passed the Fort AP Hill exit...as I remember, last summer was quite an experience for you guys. Good luck with the merit badge....

Castlegazer OMG...thanks for posting that Maho video...that's EXACTLY the way the planes come in...really is pretty cool to experience
(except for stupidly standing behind a 737 on takeoff of course)
Normally, we would go back BUT, um, Jordan and I were both a bit uncomfortable with the, um, topless sunbathing Not a big deal to some I know, but we're just simple folk from NC who prefer the um, covering, shall we say, of private parts

NC Belle What's shaking? ...and speaking of, paid our first visit to Steak n Shake off Capital and it was yummy...didn't try a shake though gave up ice cream for Lent, so come Sunday, you can find me heading straight for the drive-thru the minute church gets out!

Cadburysmom---- I'm so jealous now---its been probably 8 years since I done the Mall and other sites. We usually don't have the time when we visit the relatives and when Jessie is in the car. We may stop and do some Priceline rooms if we go this summer (Jessie would be in a kennel since the inlaws moved into their new apartment----she is so loud at the inlaws, but not at my parents ).
NC Beast works real close to Steak n' Shake----and he gets tempted... but he just got his weight analyzed so that place is out of the question for a little while.

Welcome home cadburysmom, sounds like you had a great trip to DC . I haven't been to DC in so long and I would love to go back when the girls are a little older. Actually, I would love to go by myself because I'm a museum junkie and I like to go through them really slow and look at everything .

No plans here--- NC Beast is late coming home. I bet that he got some Easter candy at Wal-mart while window shopping for a new monitor.


We did our taxes back in Feb and spent it (not a big refund).

I am am such a weiner when it comes to yardwork. was playing super mom while dad is away and cut my finger practically off with the electric hedger. had to get 7 stiches. may have cut a tendon. will see this week. ugh. when is dh coming home? I did not tell him bout my finger. he would stress. me oh my
