but first a story..

Little Chocolate Donuts

Anouncer.....Marv Albert

[ open to John Belushi preparing to do the Olympic high jump ]

Announcer: John Belushi is on his way to a gold medal in the Decathlon! They're setting the bar at seven feet - here's his approach..

[ John Belushi runs toward the bar. Quick cut to John jumping over the top of the bar. Quick cut to John landing on the grass. ]

Announcer: He got it! Belushi's won the gold, now he's going for the world's record!

[ cut to John Belushi running long-distance sprint and winning, as his fans crowd around him ]

[ cut to John at home ]

John Belushi: [ seated at breakfast table smoking a cigarette ] I logged a lot of miles training for that day. And I downed a lot of doughnuts. Little Chocolate Donuts. They taste good, and they've got the sugar I need to get me going in the morning. That's why Little Chocolate Donuts have been on my training table since I was a kid.

[ cut to John Belushi going for the gold in the javelin toss ]

Announcer: Little Chocolate Donuts. The donuts of champions.

Here I sit trying to lose weight after fattening up during our cruise and there you go tempting me with chocolates again!

Yup C-Mom I am back!!!!!

I landed at 9 pm Friday evening into MCO, dragged my sorry in bed by 10 pm butt to PI for Mardi Gras, did Comedy Warehouse (I just love the stupid humor stuff and laugh my tush off every time), and then went to Adventurers Club, my personal favorite until I found Raglan Road - oooooh, this is a gooooooddddd bar!!!!! I had a great meal here at midnight (I have pics). I then went back to my hotel room and got up the next morning and made rope drop at Epcot. I rode Soaring twice and did all of Future World and ate at San Angel Inn all prior to 1pm. The crowds then got insane. I needed to leave for work stuff anyways. I did the same thing the next day at AK - made rope drop, road EE twice (such a great ride!!!!!!), and was out of there with everything on my must do list checked off, by noon as it was getting insane.

I have some observations for you all

1) Raglan Road is AMAZING!!!! Best bar I have been to in a very long time!!!! AWESOME!!!! Great food too!

2) If you don't do rope drop at the parks, you're an idiot! Well, maybe not that bad because I know how hard it is to get there for it - but come on, I was driving 45 minute and I made it there for rope drop both days.

Here's why it's the only way to go - being the weekend of Feb vacation I was a wee bit freaked about the crowds. BUT, by being at the rope drop both days I was done with every ride by 11:30 a.m.

3) Soaring is AMAZING!!!!!! The ride is awe inspiring - absolutely awe inspiring. BUT, totally depends on your seat. I got C row last seat on my second ride of the day (yup, see rope drop again, I was able to do Soaring twice and EE twice all before 10 am) and I was practically off the screen. That sucked. But it was still cool.

4) Disney should go back to designing animatronics rides - they should go old school again. I thought Mission Space was totally a let down and I just didn't like Test Track that much either. Both of these rides were built in an effort to stem off Universal - just go back and do what you know best! I ended my day yesterday with Spaceship Earth and thought, hey, this is what I love/loved about Disney and this is a good ride still to this day.

4 1/2) San Angel Inn is sooo romantic and has wonderful food - not to mention that $8 margarita that was one the best I have ever had.

5) Expedition Everest is going to be the biggest thing in Orlando for years to come. IT is one of the best rides I have ever been on!!!!! AWESOME!!!!!

6) If they tell you EE is shut down - just go anyways. Their lying to you to cut down the crowds. I was able to ride it twice while it was "shut down". I gave away my fast pass to go to Lion King.

7) DIS'rs are the most friendly best people in the world!!!!!!!

I sat next to a woman in Festival of the lion king and she started talking to me and I was asking her some questions and it became apparent that she was no Disney slaker - so I asked and sure enough she's a DIS'rs - she was so nice and made me - the loser single rider, feel very warm and like I was among friends.

OK - so those are just observations - I have pictures to go with a full trip report for you all - probably by weeks end I will have them up.

Welcome back CG! NC Beast has been wanting to San Angel since our honeymoon---maybe on our next trip.


Cadsmom---check your tire pressure & conditions if you ever come up on 64---we had to repair a tire today (nail).

CG thanks for the report.. sounds like you were busy...can't wait to ride EE ... I was sad tat coaster kid wanted to ride Sheikra instead.. oh well my turn to ride will come soon...

I have never been to San Angel and thought about it a bunch of time.. but never did it..maybe the next time I go to WDW I will schedule when ever that is...

Oh yeah, I am going after the cruise for a day.. but not going to do much but ride EE and take Geoff to lunch at Le Cellier for his 15th b'day.

Here is a cruise related question - my safe sea is from the cruise 2 year's ago.. think it is still good?

Pictures? Hmm this for ibouncetoo I took these when we went to Festival of the Lion King together in November..

You know, amazingly, this was my first time going to Festival of the Lion King - I was almost in tears it was soo good!!! I loved it. Perfect! I have that same picture! I can't wait to take my kids. I don't know why I have never done it before. AK is a park that I have been to many, many times.

Hey guys, happy weekend.

bored to tears around here. I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. -as I sit at my pity party. woe is me....

on a bright side, my son has ran in two races so far today and taken first with his teammates in the 4x8 relay and he was first in the mile. Now he is waiting to run the 2 mile. Poor kid. He will be tired tomorrow!!

off to cook. I wish I had a nanny!!!
