MR BACK's Back!

Howdy Strangers,

hope everyone is well. CG i can't open the link! My computer sucks. I haven't been able to get on lately. Who knows. Will try again when the computer warms up????? ugh

OF I bet Ian looks adorable. Post a pic of him and his "wheels"

KADATEN for as much as you go to Disney, you must start planning itineraries for those of us who rarely get down there even though we live in Florida!!! I am thinking of planning a trip. My son is running north of Orlando two Saturdays in a row. I thought that Lauren and I will see him run then head off to Diseny until the following Sat. when he runs again. But I would be taking her out of Kind. for a week. Thats ok isn't it??? That would put me down there the first week of November but in time for the Halloween party. hmmmmm not sure what to do and even if we can get ressies at one of the values.

anyway, off to get things accomplished today. so much to do and so little time!

GEFFRIC stay away from posting those desserts!! yumm! I'm working on fitting into a decent bathing suit for next summer. Yep-NEXT summer. Sick of being flabby! BTW how is cross country going? CADSMOM, same question? Tom won his age division in last Sat's race. He was awarded a trophy by President Carter. Pretty cool! :cheer2: :smooth:

CG i opened it! I copied and pasted. Oh how adorable is that!!! I love the hat. What do you do with your pages? Do you make an online album or do you print them out???

Thank you. I print them out - I invested in a good printer - and then I put them in albums as I need a physical copy of my prints (a girl thing I think) - well, not yet, but that is my plan. I have thus far been carrying them around with me to show people as I have been traveling a lot lately and this one I gave to my MIL as a gift to her. She is unfamiliar with scrapbooking so she was a little less than overwhelmed at this which kindof deflated me after the work I put into it but I think she framed it and it now hangs in their summer home.

OK, I did it - I braved putting up the first digital layout that I did of Catrina so here it is (for you people into this type of stuff)

http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/pg.asp?gallery=4&cmd=display&layout_id=666451

It doesn't show her spectacularly blond hair, but she looks cute in her hat.
:earseek: WOW, castlegazer! That is AWESOME!!!!! ::yes::
I can't believe that's your first layout. Nope. It's got so many elements that work together perfectly! You, my friend, are very talented! ::yes::

Cheeringmom :Pinkbounc :cheer2: HOORAY for Tom!
5.gif
That is awesome!
My little 6th grader is still hanging onto 4th place racing against 6-8th graders so we're might darn happy ::yes::

Castlegazer OMG! That layout is incredible and Catrina looks so beautiful. She's quite lucky to have such a talented mom. I love the whole collage but if I had to pick a fav pic, it would be the bottom one where Grammy is looking proudly at her sweet smiling girl :teeth:

NC Belle I'm so relieved and happy your family is alright :goodvibes Are you and da Beast going to the State Fair this year?

You know, we used to do that! :teeth: Anytime a friend or coworker was going, we'd give them as much help as they needed (one just wanted phone numbers and a lits of our favorite places to eat.....one got an entire trip plan and about 10 written pages of tips, phone numbers, plans, scheduled park days, etc. :earseek:

Funny thing....I'm out of practice! Since we can go whenever, we don't feel the need to see it all every time we're there. (In fact, last weekend we turned around and came home before we even got into the park. Yep. I made good on my promise of "we're going home if you're not behaving". Anyway.....)

BUT, if you need any timely tips or such, I'll be happy to try my best! Let me know when you're coming...we might just run into you in the parks :)

First week of November??? NOT to meet me and geoff and Chocolatesista on the 10th???

GEFFRIC BTW how is cross country going? Geofff is doing fine. Last week he came in 3rd of his team ( Fresh only) but 40th in the race..It was an invitaional with 29 schools. So 40 wasn't too bad as there were about 200 + runners.

Tom won his age division in last Sat's race. WOW! Great for him.. what was his time???
He was awarded a trophy by President Carter. Pretty cool! :cheer2: :smooth: I am so impressed...

Castlegazer OMG! That layout is incredible and Catrina looks so beautiful. It is so hard to believe that this is your first page. You are very talented.

NC Belle glad the fsamily is okay..

well end of qtr.. must go back to selling.. See ya soon..

Congrats to Geoff and Jordin on their races. Very respectable runs!! The coach always tells Tom that he will get better with age. He is hoping!

Nope Geffric, can't make it then. Heck not sure if I can even make it the first week of November! I'm waiting on the coach to see if the team even has a chance at regionals.

Kadaten, I'll let you know. I'm hoping. I havent' been since Feb. I'm going into withdrawl!

nope, won't let me do anything with it. Shoot, it is a really good picture of the destruction of Katrina

What a bunch of athletes we have in our midst!!!! Congrats to all the speed demons!

Guys, I have been doing, or at least thinking about doing regular scrapbooking for quite a few years now, so digital stuff comes pretty easy - in fact easier than traditional for me. So don't be so overwhelmed because you basically just transfer your style to digital very easily and can actually do much more with your ideas as you can change it whenever you want without ripping off the photos from the page and ruining all your hard work. I also, like many things in my life, spent about a month studying, gathering freebies, and just sitting back and watching what other people were doing so that when I sat down to do a page of my own I knew what style I wanted to do and what paper and elements I liked a lot. That page took me one night - and my nights are from 9pm to 10:30pm - so basically in an hour and a half I have a page. This is why I am sooo loving digital scrapbooking.

But that being said, thanks for your gushing praise. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside :goodvibes  :grouphug:

I'll keep letting you all know when I post new pages. I have a truly beautiful one of Catrina learning how to sit up but I don't think I will post it as it is a very clear shot of her and I am uncomfortable posting pics that identifiable of my kids. I just did a new page last night of my BIL and future SIL who are getting married next weekend that will probably be the next one I post as it is very different from this one and shows my style some more. I LOVE THIS! What a fun hobby! I used to be sooo burdened by traditional scrapbooking because I felt it was always hanging over my head - drag out the supplies, start a page, then clean up, then repeat every night, then maybe finish it in a month. For me, it stunk.

Geffric OMG! That is so great for Geoff!

I know you must be proud! :teeth:
Didn't understand what the numbers meant until this year so in the past when told a kid came in 40th I'd think, poor thing, when in reality, that kid had done great ...I know Jordan would've loved to have gotten that number yesterday :tilt:

Cheeringmom Just had to add, how exciting for Tom to receive a trophy from Jimmy Carter! :cool1: He's such a great man and one of my heros....did you get any pics? And how did it happen that he was at Tom's track meet? :confused3 This is soooo cool! :goodvibes

Kadaten Man, can't imagine having the option to turn around and leave WDW if your children misbehave....you've got it made, girlfriend...and I am definitely jealous! :p

Geffric, congrats to your little runners...

CG, what a cute and sweet layout, looking good!!!

Cheeringmom, who is in the picture??? I think we could let the Dragons and Ian plan an itinerary for you... Start with Small World 30 times in a row, then Space ranger spin twice (That would be the first day. 12 hours at Giridelli in DTD... Maybe back to MK to ride Snow Whites Scary Adventure a couple of times and then 10 times in a row on the tea cups, and a couple of viewings of Philharmagic. The Next day How About 30 times on TOT.

Do you think it would work??? ;)

Good Morning all!!!!!

:flower: I was going to ask you if you were going. It depends on the weather and if I feel well enough---bronchial trouble (it started a bit early this year). I don't want to be run down for our trip.

Well, it certainly didn't feel good doing it! You forget, *I* wanted to go, too! But we were all in the same car, so HOME we all went. Ugh. They're just both NOT their sweet little selves lately. Well, Walt never really has been (sorry, but it's true) but Abbie has just gotten so demanding and sour lately. We'd started on having her "perfect day" (clearly a daddy's idea...a daddy who is wrapped around her little finger!) and had mini-golfed in Kissimmee at Congo River (COOL place to mini-golf). Lunch was next then afternoon at Epcot to do the rest of the things on her perfect day list (boat ride, train ride, fireworks, dinner out, arts/crafts, dessert, etc.) But all she could do was whine and complain :( DH was so mad and frustrated he was nearly in tears. :( It was a very quiet afternoon to say the least.

*Hoping* this weekend is better. DH is out of town Wed-late Fri. so they won't see him until Saturday morning. Will probably do parks one day this weekend...wish us luck! I honestly never thought I'd be skipping WDW days due to behavior!
