OF my recommnendations are to get a umbrella stroller that allows for the baby to lay down. This way he could sleep and you wouldn't have to leave the park. LEWS looks great. I would not bring the huge sroller. Too hard if you decide to take the busses.
LEW how is the sale going???
Yes, I really recommend a light, easy to handle one. Been both routes. A big bulky one is truly a pain, not only on the bus but the monorail too (not that it needs to be folded, just smaller and easier to handle), restaurants, shopping aisles on main street. It's got a nice basket underneath, reclines, manuevers easier, has a 5pt harness and is very comfy for babies and toddlers alike. Have I said how much I LOVE my stroller? ::yes:: Ms llebrekniT has a nice one too...a Pliko I believe. I bantered between that one and the one I have.

3/4 of the home inspection was done today, looks pretty good. Minor things..you know how it goes. :)

ibounce[/b], if you win, can I come too???

::yes::

If I were to win BIG BUCKS I'd head down in October to play with the Ohanas/Beasts and stay till the Nov chocolatesistas trip.

If I were to win MEGA BUCKS, I think I'd plan a long weekend party and send all my pals tickets to fly down. Anybody ever read Janet2K's trip reports? That kind of thing....our own private fireworks, catered meals in the parks, special Illuminations dessert party. It would be really hard to decide which resort to put us all up at....maybe let people pick between Beach/Yatch/Boardwalk/Swan/Dolphin, so we'd all be in the same 'area'. Or maybe all concierge at AKL and do the AM safari. Oh, I wonder if one can book Jellyrolls for a private party....wouldn't that be a blast?!?!?! What fun to dream.......

Cheeringmom  So glad the horribly long MRI is over and saying prayers for next week's results. Sure wish I was there to give you a big hug!

NC Belle :( Prayers and PD that your family members stay safe and out of harm's way....

Castlegazer So good to hear Catrina is doing well....now let's see those pics!!! :goodvibes

Hi guys,

Firstly PD to all those affected by the awful storms. I hope you are able to get out of Ritas path.

I am so excted today. Today was the 90 day mark for our Christmas trip so my friend Andy took the day off work to book our ADR's. We managed to get all the ones we wanted for between 7pm and 7:30 which is perfect for us. He has to phone back tomorrow for New Years day as that wasn't open yet. So we got:
23rd December - Yachtsmans steakhouse
24th December - California Grill at 7:15pm
25th December - Cape May cafe
26th December - Artists Point
27th December - CP package at Alfredo de Roma
28th December - Off site at Unversal
29th December - Bombas
30th December - Ohanas
31st December - Hollywood Brown Derby, 7pm

Oh well I should go. I have a rehearsal tonight at the theatre.
Danauk It's SOOOO good to hear from you and your ADR's sound wonderful! You're making me totally jealous :teeth: And also glad to hear you've got a good group of kids this year. You've definitely paid your dues with tough kids in the past and deserve some good ones for a change ::yes:: So what productions has your theatre group being doing? :confused3 I love musicals and miss hearing about the ones you and your hubby are involved with.

Lewski Woo! Hoo! on the house inspection! :cool1:

Geffric ;) :mickeybar :mickeybar :mickeybar

Ibouncetoo MEGA big bucks! MEGA big bucks! I'm liking your thinking!!! :Pinkbounc

Hey, Kadaten, any chance on getting together some other time between the 22nd-30th?????
Prolly not. :( Sorry! We're only there for 2 nights....to do MNSSHP one night with the kids and then F&W festival the other. We try not to be too planned out, as with my two kiddos, I can either have 2 Happy dwarfs or 2 Grumpy's or one of each, and we like to be able to react accordingly without having to worry about standing people up :( But perhaps we'll run into you in the parks! If you see us, be sure to stop us to say "Hello" and we'll do the same! :)

Hey Ohana, geffric and any other DVC owners.......anyone considering the 10/22/06 DVC Cruise???? Anybody want to take me with them???

.........geez, I really need to check my lottery ticket!

How sick is this, I read your post, grabbed the phone and called member services....They didn't even know the exact dates. This will fit great into our schedule....(breathe in, breathe out, breathe in, breathe out...NO hyperventilating!!!)

Kadaten, we are doing MNSSHP too... Tuesday night... We are meeting Ed at LTT. Our seating, we aren't in Ed's party, but we have a 5:20 seating. We will have our metrolite (Light-weight full sized stroller with plenty of storage...RRBB has spoken) IAN, and (of course) the Dragons.

ibouncetoo since the kids are in school for not just this, but just about every DVC member event that there is.. we will pass..

but you can join us on the 3/25/2006 western.

Well, I'd love to, but with DH being in the Navy and all, he doesn't think of that as a valid way to vacation! But I'm working on him! :teeth:

Pretty sure we're doing the party Sunday night since that's AP discount night. (Guess I should call and get the tix, huh?) Have seating somewhere, but don't remember where! I *do* know it's too early though...like 4:30? It was all we could get when I called.... so we'll have more time to kill before the party starts...Hopefully they'll let us stay in somewhere....need to go read up on last year's thread to get reminded where they herd everybody.... And make sure we skip that part during the day!

Monday is F&W and Le Cellier.
Tuesday we go home late in the day :(

:wave:We doing Epcot Monday morning and maybe in the afternoon. We go home late afternoon on Wed. 10/26.

NC Beast wants to be a cheap lush so we be having rum in our rooms (we don't like dropping $7-10 for mixed drinks a whole lot unless its a good drink). I love Le Cellier---but, I did not plan ADRs for it. I was hoping that we like the samples at F&W.

Check out this thread:
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=10033923

If my trip with PixieMagic doesn't happen, I'd have enought time to save up for this one.....if only a DVCer would want me in their travel party :) I think the date I mentioned was the date of the 'deleted' cruise(s)

No marathon stuff for me....body in pretty disgusting shape right now :(

cadburysmom we have just done a show whch featured songs through the decades which was fun. I am in Fiddler on the roof in 3 weeks time and then I am taking a break for a while. We will be in WDW when the Christmas show is on so I can't do that one. I will do the Wizard of Oz next year though.

Well we managed to get our last ADR booked yesterday for New Years day at Citricos so we are all set now. I'm just waiting for the park hours to be out, which they will no doubt change lots of times before we finally go!!

Or Feb with the really, really COOL people :cool2: hopefully ChocolateSista will come to her senses and cruise with us one day ;)
Btw, always wondered about the DVC Member cruise :scratchin Can only DVC members cruise on that date and do they offer special services not offered on other Disney cruises? Also, why the heck would they schedule it right smack dab in the middle of hurricane season ???? :scared:

Danauk Congrats for getting your ADR's done! Now you can just sit back and relax and look forward to another wonderful trip :earsgirl: :earsboy: So which character are you in Fiddler on the Roof? I love that musical too..."Matchmaker, Matchmaker, make me a match...."...just LOVE all those songs!!! Saw it on stage once and decided I wanted to be the ghost of the butcher's wife coming back to haunt them....they had her hooked up by wires and she flew out from behind her tombstone to above the stage and then directly above the audience...scared us to death when she first "flew" out  but you just knew she was having the time of her life up there! ::yes:: :p

Only DVC Members can book staterooms. So a DVCer could travel with extended family or the like and book multiple rooms. Although over on the 'waiting to book' thread people are already objecting to the idea as it could prevent DVC members from getting a stateroom (as the cruise is sure to be full). Although one poster said they wouldn't 'mind' if the non-DVC people were 'considering' buying DVC. I'm sure others will jump all over that, as who would want to be told they shouldn't travel with a large family/group (or nanny or au'pair)?

As far as special activities.....Ohanafamily could answer that. Oh, and Ohana the call in day is most likely 12/3 from what I've been reading.

Cruise date? Well, it's kind of the end of hurricane season....late Oct and Nov don't seem to be impacted as much as Sept dates.

I think I'll go see if there are any trip reports from last year's DVC cruise.

Thanks! Maybe you and I could just wait outside the cruise terminal with our thumbs out and some kind-hearted DVC'er will take us with em ;) :p

NC Belle :3dglasses Be sure to keep your TV tuned to WTVD 11 news as both Jordan and OUR car(blue volvo wagon) are gonna be on it! :cheer2: His school had a carwash today for the Katrina victims and the TV news van happened to pull up while they were washing my car. Probably only a 2 second blurb on the late news but heck, we don't care, just fun to say we were on TV!! ::yes::

Um, where is this thread Please?????

cadburysmom, we went last year and it was a blast. This year we have IAN, and were not sure if he would be able to go with us. We had an extra day day on cstaway cay, so the cost was alittle more. There was special entertainment (we were actually not happy with it, It was a singer who I forget her name...She brought her family with her, and her daughter was trying to sing (she wasn't that great) but her husband wrote themes for sports shows. We were subjected to a medly of Sport Show TV Themes on video. I know ESPN is a big deal to some people, but I don't consider this entertainment...) Other good points were some special lectures. I practically followed the imagineer that was there who was on the ship design team. We spent some time with Jim Korkis, a disney historian) Were shown some special collectable items, given a chance for a discount on DVC points, etc. There was even an impromptu session on resale (not approved by DVC).

Everyone on the ship was fantastic; not a lot of kids...not any rude Thai Monks either... We got t-shirts and lots of other things.

I still like quoting some of the stuff I learned about how the ship was constructed. You would not believe theamount of hand work that went into the making of the ships. A couple of my favorite stories... The rooms having SPLIT BATHROOMS. The Mural in Ariel's was hand done by 3 ladies in the port city (he said he almost soiled his pants when they handed her the contract, asked for the color sample; she reached down hand ground a few pigments right in front of them..realizing he only had 3 months...) There was also the story behind the lighting in Animator's Palette....

OK, sorry for the long rant....
