MP3 - where do you get your music from?

My kids all have Ipods and use Itunes to get their music. I don't have an Ipod, I have a Sansa Fuze. I got it a year ago Christmas and finally took it out of the package to figure out how to use it. I now know how to listen to the radio and have ripped all my CD's onto Windows Media Player and synced them to my Sansa Fuze.

Now I want some new music. How do I get more music and do I have to pay for it? Are there free sites out there that won't get me arrested if I download the music from them?

Check the View, Rachael Ray, Live with Regis and Kelly, Ellen, or Oprah's web sites they put free music on sites. So do the late night shows.

We are in the same situation--dd has an iPod and dh and I have Fuzes. We love Amazon.

But, if you want to have exactly what you want, you do need to pay for it. Amazon does have a free song every day, and it's a good way to discover new artists.

amazon is great, I agree. Amazon has lots of free music every day. Some is odd but some is not bad.

Thanks for the replies so far. For Amazon, is it just one free song per day? I only saw one free download on the MP3 section. Are there more and where are they?

You could also try lala.com. You can listen to the entire song once before purchasing, that way you know if it's really what you are looking for. Plus in the hot deals section they have full albums for pretty cheap.
