MP3 player?

I'm looking for an MP3 player that I can download songs from Amazon, hook up to a stereo at home, and also use through the car stereo. is there anything that will do this?

I'm still using CD's and would really like to get rid of all of them. thanks for any help.

iPod and iTunes. The Amazon player converts to iPod.

This is what I have. The awesome thing about it is it has a slot for microSD cards, which means you can expand your player's capacity beyond the 4GB that it has. It's $35 right now, and comes in 4 different colors.

Do you have a "line in" or "aux" port on your stereo? It will be a 3.5mm plug slot, just like you would plug headphones in to. If so, you'll need one of these, and you'll be all set for listening through your car or home stereo.

Do you have an android smart phone that is no longer in use? If so put it into Airplane mode, turn on WiFi and if it will do it put a micro SD memory card into it. Wammo..you now have a media player that rivals the best ipod out there. It will send emails, surf the web, make phone calls over WiFi with groovoip using your google voice account plus you can watch youtube and put music and movies on it. My player is a dis-used Samsung S2 and it is terrific. A second life for an expensive device. You can even get one off ebay with a bad ESN number. Does not matter since you will not be using it as a cell phone. Something to consider...
