I have an iRiver (128 MB) and I love it. I just wish I would have spent the extra$$ for the 256 MB one. Here's a link to the iRiver site: http://www.iriveramerica.com/products/
I have a Rio Riot 20GB. I love, love, love, love it. It is much pricer than the smaller models ($250-300) but it can hold every CD I own all at once (up to 4,000 songs). This way I have all of my music with me when I go to work, etc. and I don't have to constantly be picking out which music to download.
I have a Sony Mini Disc player. It works like an MP3 player, except you download your song to mini discs. One mini disc will hold about 20 songs. So really, your storage capacity is only limited to the number of mini discs you're willing to buy.
Personally I love it. Sound quality is great, its small, and you can make min discs to your liking, kinda like cassettes or CD's.
Is there any good ones under $100. Should I try ebay? I would like to get one, but have been debating on getting one for my DD and I...just do not know much about them.
I also have a Sony minidisc player, but mine will hold MP3's also. I have about 4 hours of MP3 music on each disc, and in 6 months have only used 1 AA battery and I play it 7-10 hours a week. We also got an adapter for our truck and use it there when we are out on the weekends. I believe it was around $125 and I highly recommend it.
