MP3 player/iPod...can someone help me please?

I am thinking about buying my daughter an MP3 player for her birthday next month. She is only 9 so I don't want to get something too expensive. Can someone give me a starting place? What I am looking for is something I can put her dance music on so she can practice without needing the boombox. I don't want to get music from the internet or anything like that...just cd's we already have. Can this be done? If so, what should I look for?

Look for something probably around 512 storage size wise. If shes only 9 you dont need to shell out big bucks for something with a huge storage capacity, or for the Ipod brand unless you think she really needs that. I have a Samsung that Im happy with and there are several other brands just as good- Iriver, Sony, etc... Go to Best Buy or similar- they have several kinds there and the price will be maybe $75 and up

I got the ipod shuffle for myself recently and I love it! It was $69 and free shipping and free engraving on the side (I had my name and phone number put on incase I left it somewhere). Very easy to use!
