Who does the grass at your house? I think DH has done it a few times in the 21 years we have been married. But i don't mind, I really enjoy it.

BUT, I will NOT rake leaves...oh yuck, hate that job. DH and DS do it.

Oh and I don't shovel snow...DH and DS have that job again.

I did the mowing last year. Chris has taken over the chore this year. I do the leaves. I hate it, too. Just had a tree removed, so there should be fewer leaves to contend with. Chris does the edging though.....I can't see well enough for that. I take care of everything else.

I enjoy mowing the grass, besides, I do a better job a it than DH does. :smooth:

He has one of those noisy leaf blowers, so I let him take care of them.

The one thing that makes me a bit nervous is the whipper snipper thing, the trimmer! I use it, but last week I got a nasty ding on my foot from a stone that it shot out. This happens from time to time, and we always say that I need to get a pair of proper work boots, but it hasn't happend yet!

If we don't get some rain soon, won't have to worry about mowing. The lawn is already brown and getting browner by the day.

Same here Mamu. We've had some bad electrical storms, but little rain. It has decreased the number of times we've had to cut the grass.

I cut it occasionally. And do the weed eater occasionally too. I'd rather just work with the flowers and such. With a good book nearby, little shade, and some lemonade. ;)

I used to always do this chore - but for the last two years my DH has been doing it. He is also doing the weedwhacking and trimming around the place. He is a stay at home dad - so he had more time to attend to this - and freed up more of my time to attend to the gardens.

DH does all the mowing. There are 2 hills in the back yard. I cannot mow the yard because of fibromyalgia. Sometimes my nephew will come over and mow it for us.

I do almost all of the mowing..DW does the trimming and we both shovel snow..

I don't mow! That was my job growing up, 2 acres worth, so in my adult life I have gone on strike against the mower! When DH had hernia surgery last year I hired someone else to mow. Don't mind raking leaves and don't mind shoveling snow. Don't even mention the "M" word around me:) LisaF

I do the mowing. DS did it for a number of years but he never cut it the way I liked it. DH starts sneezing if he tries to mow. Tried a lawn service too, but they ruined a sprinkler head and they cut it way too short. Plus, I thought they were quite expensive.

I don't mind mowing. Like Amid, I kinda enjoy it.

I used to like raking leaves when I lived at my mom's house with her 1/4 acre property and few trees. Now, I dread the chore. Hubby doesn't seem to be bothered with allergies when raking and kinda enjoys it but with his back he can't bend over and pick up the piles.

Snow - Well, whoever is available and home at the time of snow can run the snowblower!!
