Ah, well its finally happened! We're moving 10-12 hours closer to WDW! Yay!

But we have only 2 weeks to do it! So, I won't be online much at all and I just don't have the energy to count my carbs right now....I'll be careful and keep eating pretty much the same as I have been and I guess I'll go back on induction when we're settled.

Wish me luck! I'm hoping to get final word on whether or not we have a place to live soon!

Good luck with your move! Bet you'll burn off most of what you eat just doing all the work associated with moving!

Good Luck on your move, Lesley!! Sounds so exciting and anywhere closer to Disney is definitely a plus! LOL :):)

Good luck with this, sweetie. Controlling your carbs can be as easy or difficult as you want it to be. I'm sure you will do just fine. Good luck with the move.

Lesley, good luck with your move and all that goes with it. :) I'd love to move 10-12 hours closer to WDW 'cuz that would mean I'd be leaving winter behind permanently! ;)

Good Luck Lesley! I've moved many times, and it's stressful (but kind of exciting too). And just think how much use you'll get out of an AP being so close to Disney.:Pinkbounc

Good luck with your move. :D I am sure you will be burning tons of calories with your move.:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Good Luck and I hope all goes well with your move Leslie:D

Good luck with your move! What part of SC are you moving to? I hope you'll be near the coast!!! :) The south part of SC is great! I love how they refer to it as the "low country". Woo-hoo! You'll be closer to Disney!!!!! Congratulations!!! :)

I LOVE South Carolina! Hope to be moving there myself some day -- the sooner the better. (I'm next-door in GA.) DD starts college at the University of South Carolina in August, so I guess it must run in the family!

Well, I'm back! And I'm now getting settled here in Columbia....so far we're enjoying it. I don't think I've gained any weight but I did fall off the wagon, so to speak. As soon as my cooking/shopping gets more normal again (I've been trying out different stores and not finding things I need half the time....) I'll be good to go. Life is good for low carber's here....

I've actually been trying to stay low carb this week....but a friend gave us a baked ziti and no one here liked it except me (she put veggies and beans in it....I think its quite good) and we're still in a weird situation financially (which will be resolved shortly...just normal moving/new job/new bank account stuff ) so I don't feel like I should waste good food.

Anyway, the weather has been beautiful...we've been exploring all the playgrounds and parks in the area as well as the zoo. I think I got poison ivy on a nature trail today...ugh. And I have an exercise room right across the parking lot (as well as a pool and spa....LOL.....at first I kept saying that this felt like a really sucky vacation where I had to do all the work and bring all my stuff!) so I'm going to try to work that into a routine sometime soon. I'll be off and running (and losing) soon!

Welcome back and congratulations on completing your move to your new home. That must be very stressfull with moving, new job, packing, unpacking, transferring funds, and staying on a diet to boot. It sounds like you have done an outstanding job.

Best wishes and encouragement, Ray :)

WELCOME BACK LESLEY!!

I missed you SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!! Woo-hoo! I'm glad you are getting settled back in. Enjoy that ziti! Free, yummy food is a good thing!!!!!

Hope to see you posting regularly here again. I am SOOOOOOO happy you are back!!!!! Enjoy your new home!

YIKES, moving is stressful. Don't worry about counting your carbs until the move is over, just make the best choices you can.

You can come back to WISH and repair any damage you might do, but I'll bet you don't do much.

Good luck with the move.

That is so exciting....Good luck with the move. When you are settled in, sart induction again, and like you sid, try to stay as close to 20 as possible. Good luck!
