moving to orlando?

Hello,

Need some advise/help. My husband's position in HR was eliminated a few months ago. No job interviews because of the holidays and now my husband would like to sell house and move to florida in hopes of finding a job. What do you suggest? We have lived in the Cape Cod area for over 18 years and was trying to retire to orlando area 10 years from now. Now husband says its time to go and seek a new life in Florida.

Is this a good thing to do? Are we rushing it? Are there jobs in HR near the Orlando area? Please give us some suggestions as to our theory. Thanks.

Looking for a job in the Orlando area as well. Might I suggest him signing up on Monster.com and looking in the OrlandoSentinel.com for something pervious to doing anything. Once I get an interview and a job, we will put our house up. I can and will move ahead of DH and kids if necessary, but I refuse to just pack up and go without anything set in stone there. BTW, I have applied at WDW for a few jobs. Disneycareers.com.

We moved to Central Florida a little over a year ago after being born and raised in Michigan. DH found his job at hotjobs.com. I would suggest registering there and at Monster.com. Also keep an eye on opening in the Orlando Sentinal. If there is a specific field he is looking for (HR in the banking business, hospital...etc) you could alway research companies in the area and then go to their actual website and look for open positions there. Good luck....this is a wonderful place to live.
