Hi guys,

im sure someone on here will be able to answer, during our upcomming trip my GF and I will be spending our 1st night at POP before moving onto Old key west for 14 nights. We are not renting a car so was wondering if disney provide a service were they would transport our bags etc.. for us or will we have to get a taxi?

If you take your bags to Bell Services at Pop they will arrange to transfer them to OKW for you.

They will not promise to get them there prior to either 3 or 4pm.

yip as elsie says they will do this for you :thumbsup2 we actually got them to pick our bags up from our room in SSR and drop them at KIDANI bell services however this may not be the norm.... ENJOY

If you press the button for Bell Services (picture of a suitcase) on your phone in the room, they will collect your bags from the room and transfer them to whichever resort you are moving to.

Also, when you arrive at the new resort and have moved into your room, if you call bell services, they will deliver your bags to the room. As Tracey says, though, there are no guarantees that the bags will be there as soon as you check in.

Don't forget to tip ($1 per bag is the norm).

To heck with the bags, I'm more impressed with someone spending two full weeks at OKW....cheers, mate.

3 weeks for me this summer :cloud9:
The deals we have been getting in the UK for OKW & SSR make it very difficult to resist and go elsewhere. This year is costing $187/nt incl tax with free DDP for upto 4 people.
2 or 3 weeks is the norm for UK travellers.:goodvibes

Joh - does Pop have a full bell services service? I was under the impression that they didnt. I know the luggage handling there (& All Stars) is outsourced unlike the mods & deluxe were it is Disney employees.

Good point Tracey. For some reason, I didn't register the fact that the OP was staying at Pop Century.

In that case, the OP will need to take the bags to bell services but should still be able to get them delivered ot the room at Old Key West :)

as wayneg has already said, the deal we get in the uk including the ddp make it a no brainer to stay at OKW, I did the same last year with some friends and stayed in a 2 bed villa! there is only myself and GF this year so studio will do us.

thanks for the advice re bags... another quick question, we need to get over to OKW ourselfs to check in and get our tickets etc so we can hit the parks as soon as possible, Do disney offer transport between hotels for guests or will it have to be taxi? in which case i'll just take our bags with us and leave them with bell services at OKW

Disney won't get you (as far as i know) to OKW just your bags. When we've resort hopped before i've just got a cab from resort to resort with bags in hand.
Sometimes if it's not too busy we've gotten into new room really early in the day , if it's busy OKW will certainly look after your bags and deliver them later in the day at your request.

To get Disney transfer you would need to get to your nearest park then OKW bus from there , not something you really want to do with your bags in hand :)

We moved from Pop to Kidani last November, just take your bags to bell services and ask them to move them to your next resort, then we went to Typhoon for the day, got on the AKL bus back to Kidani and our bags were waiting for us at che k in at about 3pm. Very easy :)

No they won't move you - you will need to get a taxi.

The Bell Services staff at OKW are the best :thumbsup2
