Can I move a cruise that I have booked using a placeholder and paid the full deposit on and not lose the benefit of the placeholder, it would still be within the 24 month period
Thanks Michael

Yes. You will MODIFY your reservation. You must keep the same lead guest, but otherwise can change ship, date, other guests…

Yes. You can modify a reservation and keep the placeholder discount as long as it is before the final payment date for the initially booked cruise (and the new cruise begins within 2 years of the placeholder purchase date).

Yes! You have to call and modify it. They can also move over the current money you have down S a deposit to the new cruise you choose.

Thanks for your replies, I was hoping that would be the case, just to be clear I am asking about the full deposit and not just the $250. My wife seems to think when we booked the agent said if we paid the full deposit we couldn't change, I am a bit deaf and can't always make out what is said so I usually put it on speaker so my wife can hear as well.
Thanks Michael

Correct. You can modify the dates/itinerary booking as long as 1) you haven't hit the PIF date and penalties on the current booking, and 2) the new dates will still be within the 24-month window. The funds you have paid so far (the $250 plus whatever extra deposit was required) will transfer but depending on the new cruise fares you may need to pay a little extra deposit.
