Well i dont know if we have a thread on this but... What does everyone think about "Passing Away"?

Im personally scared about it
Its on my mind 24-7 im paranoid by it


I just kinda want a thread to discuss this matter and MODS if this is not an appropriate thread then please delete.

I think it's going to be extremely peaceful.
I don't think about it much.
It doesn't scare me, except for the fact that I'll be leaving everyone I love behind.
But I'm going to make sure they don't have any debt left over from me.
When I go, I'll go.
And I'm hoping I'll be a very old great great great grandmother [Or great great or something] with a wonderful husband. And die peacefully in my sleep.
And I want to be buried, not cremated(sp). :]
And I want the songs "A dream is a wish your heart makes" and "Suteki Da Ne" played at my funeral. :]

I don't think about it much either and I am not afraid of dying at all. I really think as Kayla said it is going to be peaceful wherever you think the afterlife is and what it is about I think it will be a peaceful journey and a peaceful place.

I'm not scared, I think it's going to be peaceful. Like sleeping, your mind just doesn't exist anymore. Maybe it's just an eternity of dreams.

I honestly do not know what's "out there". Past this life, but I don't think it's anything to be frightened by. I'll just miss my family and friends.
But I don't honestly think about it much.

of course i'm absolutely terrifed but i try not to dwell on it too much
i've been slightly more paranoid since i saw that movie tuck everlasting
it absolutely terrified me (but i still love it)

everyones afraid of dying.. its just one of those things where you dont know what happens after death.. its natural to be afraid of things that you dont know afterall...

but yea, i think about it from time to time.. really, when it happens, it happens... you cant prevent it... but like everyone, i hope i die as an old man in bed... it would really suck any other way... lol

Yeah me too. I hope I die when I'm really super old, and have come to terms with it.

I know that when god wants me he will just take me hopefully peacefully in my sleep
And i also want to be burried (Hopefully with a husband...if im lucky enough to find someone that loves me)


Im currenly reading this book called "Cant wait to get to heaven" and its really changing how i look at life.

i belive death is also a very uncertain thing. events in life happen too fast it could really happen anytime but i pray that i am old when it becomes my time and i pray i pass peacefully within my sleep. the closest person i had pass was this last year it was my great aunt i did not really know her she was just around from birthdays and thanksgivings but when i went to her wake i was an emotional wreck and it was my very first wake at 14. i didnt know how to deal with it. being the last day of the wake they closed the coffin at the end of the night and that was the last time anyone would ever see her. i dont know how i will deal with the passing of a grandparent or even worse parent or sibling. i belive that when i am older i will come to accept this fact of life my grandmother has this mentality and i hope i become the same way As for now i am afraid of how i will go not where i will go i am certain of where i will be. i guess its just a scarry thought to think that you will never be on this earth again and will never be able to experience any of this again. just by writing this i need to take more risks and live life to the fullest because life is full of surprises and you only got one so what the heck. dont let certain hold you behind from what you want to do.. go and do it make the best with what your givin

speaking of death a boy in my class(josh)
his grandpa commited suicide and tomorrows the funeral
but anyways on topic
i am not scared of dying because i know that i will be at home in Heaven with God

I know for a fact that Suicide is the hardest death to take and understand
You dont realize that until its happened to you

All you can wonder is "Why would he/she do something like that?" "Did she not care about us?" "Was it something i said?"



Im very sorry about your classmates grandpa, Its really hard to take it honestly is I havnt gone a day without thinking of suicide until someone i love did that. It makes me wonder...what sudden thoughts they could have had or just plain WHY?

I've had a lot of important people in my life die, and all of them went peacefully. Which helps me to think that it will be peacefull as well.
I hope that I will live long, because honestly, if I died now my life wouldn't be close to complete in my mind.
I'm not scared of death any more.
When someone is dieing in your own home, right next to your room, you do get scared.
I thought it was going to be violent, but a lot of times it isn't.
With my mother, her breathing just slowed down, and she passed.
It was hard to see her, not moving, but she looked very peacefull.

my friend died about a month ago.

it hasn't even hit me yet.

idk. i just think it's weird that one minute they're there and the next they're not.

I am also afraid of death, and I do think about it most of the time. I'm even afraid of growing up. Like, a part of me doesn't want to grow old, but another part of me does. Death is a scary thing for me. I've been thinking about it since I was young. When I do die, I don't want a painful death. Who does? I just want it to happen quickly. But, it's like, what was the point of living, if you're just going to die?
