Moving Luggage from CSR to ....

long story, but getting off a Disney cruise with another family. We'd like to take the bus to keep the kids together but because of our schedule we chose different resorts. If we all get dropped of at CSR will Bell Services help us move our luggage to another resort....thinking POLY or YC.

We'll be arriving early, so the length of time it takes to move bags is not an issue with us. However, I will not be able to check in to the other resort until much later that day.

Any thoughts or advice.

(And yes if we have to, we'll take a different bus to the other resort to begin with ...just a nice-to-have...not a must to be on the same bus.)

I'm totally confused by your post!

A - not sure the resort will move your luggage if you're not staying there - that is a courtesy thing they do when you move from one resort to another. But they might do it.

B - I don't understand the whole going to one resort, but we would get on the bus to the other resort part (your final comment) - isn't that the opposite of what you're asking about?

just anticipating some flames about how crazy it sounds to all go to one resort. It's almost an hour and a half bus ride to WDW...all the kids will be much happier if we're together. Just want to be together if we can figure it out without too much hassle.

I'm not sure how they structure the buses from the ship to the resort, since we had a rental car, but I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't the same as ME from the airport. In that case, you can only get on the bus which is going to the resort that you are booked into. Now these buses go to multiple resorts, so it could all be moot.

I'm not familiar with how the buses from the port to DW are arranged. If, however, they will let all of you take the same bus to CSR, then your family or one person in your family could get a taxi and take the luggage and check in at Poly or YC. I don't think CSR will transfer your luggage since you're not staying there.

You mentioned not being able to check in until much later in the day. Unless there's a particular reason you can't check in, there is a difference between checking in and getting into your room. You can check in anytime after 6 AM, but your room might not be available until later in the day. You can leave your luggage with bell services and when your room is ready they will text you.
