Moving Luggage between rooms

We have 4 rooms at Pop and added a day to the beginning of our vacation. After the first night we will have to switch rooms within the resort because they did not have any rooms available in the room category our package was booked for. We had to book our first night room only so as not to lose free dining for the week.

When we go to check out in the morning and check into the new room will we have to bring all of our luggage down to the front desk to be held or are they able to move our luggage from our old room to the new room?

When you are ready to check out, call Luggage services and have them come get it all, ask them to put it in storage. You do not need to go to the Lobby to check out, you can have Express Check out, you just leave the room, unless there is something on your final bill you need to adjust/straighten out. You are free to go have a bit of fun at the Parks or whatever. You can of course leave your room and go right to the Lobby and say Hi, we are checking in today, you never know, your next room may be ready. If it is, get your new Key to the World Cards and head to it. Once in the new room, call Luggage Services and they will deliver it all to your new room
Of course I would just pop in to check in as soon as you have the Luggage ready, just incase your New room is close by, that way you can just move it all yourself, in a few minutes. Bell Services may take a while to 1) pick it up and then 2) deliver back to you

We had the same thing happen to us this past Aug. We decided to come in a day early and all they had was a preferred room for our 1st night and our other 12 nights were in a standard.
We called POP prior to arrival to link the 2 reservations and request to not have to move. Of course, they cannot guarantee anything.
When we checked in, I asked about our next day reservation and they said we would be remaining in the same room for our entire stay.
The next day we didnt have to do anything and in fact we set up to have our new KTTW cards delivered the next morning to our room. The only thing way they will do this is as long as someone is actually in the room to recieve them. they will not just leave them. We had it set up between 7:30am and 8:30am, so it was done early enough for us to still enjoy our entire day.
