Moving Luggage between resorts

Will I be able to have someone move our luggage from one resort to the next?

We are staying at Animal Kingdom then moving to Art of Animation and I am trying to figure out how my luggage will move too

Yes, bell services will do that. Your luggage won't arrive at the second resort until sometime in the afternoon.

Bell services will move your luggage for you, just let them know when and where and you are set to go on with your day. It doesn't happen immediately, I believe bags are delivered in the afternoon, but they will be transferred for you

They will be transferred but they won't be placed in your room. You will need to contact bell services to have it delivered at your 2nd resort. It is customary to tip bell services on both legs of this process.

Make sure you check carefully. We had a piece go missing on one transfer and it took them a few hours to find it. We now move our own via taxi.

So another question along these lines.
We are looking at going down a day early staying 1 night at AOA and then going to our POFQ rooms. Can I put my POFQ tags on the luggage and have them just hold them at POFQ until we check in the next day? If so I will just take what we have to have in a carryon for the 1 night/day

They will do it for you. We have done it a couple of times.

I don't think so, but I could be wrong. The one time we used DME we arrived after midnight and we weren't able to utilize the luggage delivery part of DME. It's possible that the best place for this question is the Transportation forum.

We just switched from AKL to AoA on our trip a couple weeks ago and it was a breeze. Bell services came and tagged all of our bags in the morning. When we checked in at AoA later that afternoon we just called down and they brought the bags right up.
