Hi. We will be staying in a 2 bedroom lock off for a week but a group in our party is going to stay an extra night in a studio at the end of the reservation. Is there any chance that they can stay in the studio that was a part of the 2 bedroom or will they have to move to a brand new room? Hope that makes sense :) TIA

There is a chance, but I'd not rely on it. Assignors have to play Jenga a lot. Also depends on if you're in a resort where there are dedicated studios or not.

On the studio reservation, you could add "continuing reservation [add the number of the two bedroom reservation]" plus add a note to the reservation with MS. It might work. Then when you check in, ask the CM if your second reservation is blocked into the same villa as the two bedroom.

It should work, it did for us, if they are using your reservation. You already have the studio, they just need to add days, they don't have to find you one. If the new studio reservation will be in their name, then it might be more difficult.

Not necessarily because extending the days in the studio, but not the 1 bedroom part is really no different than a new reservstion,

If someone is checking in to a 2 bedroom the same day the group wants to start their studio only reservation, then The only way the can keep them in that part is if there is another 2 bedroom opening up elsewhere.

But, what could happen is that this is the only 2 bedroom but the open studio is somewhere else next to a 1 bedroom that is occupied

Not all the resorts have dedicated studios, so the odds of getting a studio that connects to a one bedroom is usually good.
