My son wants to see this. But, I don't know anything about it and have not seen commercials. Has anyone seen this? If so, can you give me a short summary and if you think it is kid appropriate?

Also, is there any internet site that gives decent movie reviews?

Thanks!

My h took my girls to see that and they both loved it. 17 and 11. My youngest said she closed her eyes on some parts, but the rest was really good.

Saw it last weekend. It definitely leans on the PG13 side and not the PG side. Ultra violent. Suggestions of "intimacy". More violent than Spiderman. Took two 12 years old. They liked it. But one of the 12 year old's 14 year old brother told him "I didn't like it at all". I would think it is in the 12, 13, 14 age group. As an adult, I thought it was okay.

I just saw it this afternoon. VERY violent and graphic. It's also very dark - think Batman by Tim Burton - the one with Penguin. Our 8 year old will NOT be seeing it.

IMO, one of the better movies adapted from a comic book series.

Definitely darker and not quite as family-friendly as Spider-Man from last year. Should be fine for 12 or 13 and up, but maybe a bit intense for an 8 or 9 year old or younger.

We saw it when it first came out. We did not take our 11 year old. It was more violent and darker than Spiderman and I don't think she would have liked it.

Took DS10.5 and we both enjoyed it. Actually it was better than I thought it would be. There was a part where I told DS to shut his eyes.
