I read a thread about a movie night similar to the one at Fort Wilderness now being offered at the Beach Club. I seem to remember someone else had posted there was a movie at the Boardwalk. Has anyone just returned that can tell me if it is the Boardwalk or the Beach Club?

Thanks!
Melanie

I just stayed at the Beach Club last month, and I think I read or heard it was at Boardwalk. Hopefully someone else can confirm.

We stayed at the BC at the beginning of June. They showed a movie on the beach on Saturday night right behinfd the Pirate ship. It was supposed to be Friday but thats when TS Barry came through.

We didn't go, the kids would rather watch the magicians at the BW. But it was just finishing up when we were walking back to our room.

It's the BC. We walked past it twice, once on a Tuesday, and again on a Friday, when we were there two weeks ago. Everyone is streched out in lounge chairs or on blankets, and CM's are walking around playing with the kids. It looked like a lot of fun, and we almost stayed on Friday to watch the end of "Cars", but decided we were too tired.

... from Susan Ferguson: We were walking along the Boardwalk (around Crescent Lake) last week (June 1 - 5) and saw that a beach campfire and sing-along followed by a Disney movie was offered. This was happening right next to the big pool slide on the beach (near Stormalong Bay). We were not staying at the hotel, but a friendly cast member invited us along with other passers-by to sit and watch the movie. It looked like a ton of fun and a nice way to end a busy day at the parks.

Does anyone know if they are still doing this at the Beach Club and which nights, if they are?

Thanks in advance!

:cheer2: As my three 1/2 yr old Grandson says..."8 more night-nights 'til I go to DisneyWorld!" :yay:

The movie is offered every night for the 10 nights we were at the beachclub, on a 7 day rotation. Right next to the slide and the campfire. (except for one night, a singer was preforming for a party on the beach.
