moveon.org Removed From Polling Places

Who is concerned about a fair election, free of intimidation and illegal activity? Apparently not moveon.org. Representatives of moveon.org have been spotted at several Twin Cities polling places this morning passing out literature and attempting to influence voters, in violation of Minnesota state statute.

Thankfully, police and election judges have removed most of them.

Just remember that politics is a substitute for violence. Lots of people on both sides feel very very strongly and not all of them act consistent with what their national party would advise. In other countries, there might be assassinations or bombings at polling places, so we should not get too alarmed at unlawful leafletting. Let the police do their job, and we'll all be fine.
