Hi there,
Our original VR was scheduled for next Nov. 2009 but due to work, guest schedules, and other things we have decided to move up our VR to March 2009. We just received our contract today and the DH has given me a choice between having Cinderella's carriage and the MK photo shoot or staying at the GF so I chose option #1 (After seeing everyone's pictures I just would love to have that photo shoot done!). The only resort we have ever stayed at in WDW is POR because I guess once we find something we love we just stick with it! Can anyone suggest a romantic resort that is more moderately priced??? Under $250 per night? Thanks!!!

The animal kingdom is awesome!! Depending on when you go it could be less than $250. It is sooooo coool!!!

Congrats on your VR! Maybe it's just me, but I think almost all the resorts are VERY romantic!! I think POR and POFQ are the most romantic in the moderate category, AKL is my fav deluxe and is where we are are staying for our upcoming VR! Have fun with your planning! You can't go wrong with any of the resorts! :goodvibes

Wilderness Lodge is awesome too! And one of the less expensive deluxes!

If you are doing a wishes VR you will get a discount- or use your AP to get a discount

We only paid $261 a night for the BC.

I think you can get your hair and nails done at Coronado. So that might be another option for you.
However, I LOOOOOOOVED POFQ when I stayed there for Caryn's wedding. And I've also done the horse drawn carriage ride at POR. That's SUPER romantic and cheap!! (It was about $40 for a half hour)

Thanks everyone!!! I just went to the disney website (again!!! Ha ha!) and checked all your ideas out. After talking it over with DH we decided AK would be awesome for our 1 year old little boy because of the animals plus it looks really romantic! This is so exciting!!!!!!!!!!!! Is anyone else slightly obsessed with getting everything perfect? :rolleyes1 :) :bride:

You could look into renting Disney Vacation Club Points. I am staying 6 nights at the Animal Kingdom Lodge for $640!!!!
