You're a lucky woman to be able to see your horseman and Jack. I have read that the line to meet Jack and Sally is always REALLY long, we've discussed skipping it, but I don't know if I can go and NOT meet Jack! Creepy alien head or not he's a favorite of mine.

WHO IS THAT CHICKEN?!?!? Claire had the chicken on her TR too and it's driving me crazy; who is she?!?

I'm glad everyone enjoyed the parade, and I'm glad Zack got to ride more rides too! You guys had quite the night! Makes me very excited for our trip next year.

The crowds haven't been terrible in the past. According to the sites that predict it, some say it's going to be horrible and some say it's going to be great. Guess I won't know until we get there.. LOL.

Hey, at least it was at the pool... On my recent trip, I got stuck in a slowly-moving crowd in MK, right behind a college-age girl wearing shorts so short that her buttcheeks were actually hanging out of the bottom of them. And being on a scooter, that view was RIGHT IN MY FACE. It's the only time I've truly thought about bringing somebody's inappropriate attire to a CM's attention. In retrospect, I should have taken photos so we could all laugh at her here on the Dis. Woulda served the little hoochie right.

Which is exactly what my kids see ALL THE TIME being that short.
I know a LOT of people dress like this. I don't understand letting everything out. or wearing the shortest shorts available. Drives me bonkers.

Sleep? On vacation? Are you CRAZY?

Wasn't me. My kids are up everyday at either 5 or 6. so this sleeping in thing was boggling me!

RIDE ALL THE THINGS! I was the same way at my MNSSHP. I'm not a big candy person so I didn't Trick or Treat, and the only character greet I waited a moderate amount of time for was the 7 Dwarfs.

Next time we will meet more... kids NOT trick or treating? Unheard of.

Not getting an update today! NA NA NA NA.
Only because i am flat on my face exhausted. Friday- work did something i can't remember what. Then dog training.
Saturday Worked missed Meg's game yet they won 2 out of the 3.
came home out 6 my body was killing me from the constant standing and walking!!! Watched tons of Christmas movies!
Sunday- Worked again. body still killing me from the constant WALKING! it was very busy.
I need GOOD shoes. anyone have any suggestions I am OPEN to them.
Came home I was starving from not eating all day at work so we all went to eat- Kids parents and I (tom was working)
then stopped at the store came home kids made some really super fantastic ginger bread houses. (pictures soon) I made a dip for today's christmas party (at work job #1)
I sat down for approximately 3 minutes it was time to put the kiddies to bed!
Went to my room with the pleasant surprise of the "Holiday" being on! YES i am saying this openly. This is my one Chick Flick. otherwise i am NOT a girlie movie kind of girl... I hated the notebook.

So today at job #1 is our Christmas party which of course i am in "charge" of... Yay me.

I must get a move on in order to make the animals upstairs happy...

What sort of shoes can you wear? Asics Brand are really comfortable when you're on your feet all day (wore them when I was bartending) but they aren't usually one color.

I don't know.....maybe if I could watch a parade and not be elbowing people out of my spot....maybe I could enjoy it. But they are such a hassle and I always end up wanting to kill some foreigner.....almost came to blows this summer at the MSEP.

Shoes, do you guys have a The Walking Company store out there? Their brand of shoes, Abeo, are awesome. You stand on some machine and it figures out what your feet are like (high arch, flat foot, etc) and fits you to an insole. Then they find shoes that work with your feet. It is totally custom. Expensive.....but worth it. They have everything from boots to flip flops to running shoes. My "Teva style" sandals from Abeo cost me $103, but they have lasted me 3 years when I normally go through a pair every year.

Hope your schedule starts slowing down soon.....I'm worried about you!

Of course right now, mine are off my feet as I sit at my desk because I have done something to my foot and it is throbbing and the shoe does not help! Glad you survived the weekend. Which dog are you training? Or all of them? Can I send my two with you...

Ok - you know that my feet suck... I have found several brands that work well for me - my Orthaheel flip flops are my BFFs - I wear them all day every day (even in the winter), unless life FORCES me to put on other shoes. At work - I wear Asics most of the time - they have a decent arch... Otherwise, I have my Dansko/Sanitas clogs - but I still can't wear them for a full shift. I have Merrills that I like (hmmm... Where did a put those?). I was able to buy cheaper boots this year (from Maurices) - but I have to wear my Orthaheel inserts in them, most of the time - I can do quick errands with out and haven't had a problem. But, most of the time, I am in my Orthaheel flips. I get a new pair or two every year.

It's so hard when you are on your feet all day every day - most of the time on a concrete surface - and if you aren't moving around a lot, it's even harder on your feet.

I hope life slows down a little bit for you soon.

I do! and it's in the mall! this sounds like it might be the way to go. The shoes i have are fine for a normal 4 hour shift. But the way my hours are going my legs,feet, back are KILLING me.. If any of this would alleviate any of the pain i will pay whatever is needed!!!!

Did Zack enjoy the parade at all or did he stay all "Bah Humbug" about it? Even my parade hating husband and son-in-law admitted that the parade was pretty awesome! You had fantastic seats.

I had a pair of Alegria Mary Janes (zebra print), they were super cute and super ugly at the same time. LOL I thought the soles themselves were super comfy, but the upper part didn't stretch at all, so they gave me blisters all the time. Eventually, I Ebayed them... Which was a bummer, because I really liked them.

Mo, you should try these on, they might work out well for you... Just not the Mary Jane - unless you have a narrow foot. I think it's the Paloma (???) that has really good reviews. I know they all come in black.

I fell in love with my sketcher go walks, although I gave one pair to Raina that were cut to low in the front, more of a dress shoe. Anyways I didn't like that pair and she did so I gave them to her much to my hubbys dismay.
but I need a new pair as I wear the slipons most of the time they are worn out after Disney. But I have a pair of black tennis in the go walks that I also love.

Well, we did once way back during Thanksgiving, 2000 but way back then, they didn't put up Christmas decorations until the day after Thanksgiving. Annnnnyway, great pictures!

Well hello!
I had a update and replies on friday.. then POOF! the Dis and photobucket decided to take a break on me.

So i gave up..

It's been INSANE around here! My part time job (which i still love) turned into a FULL TIME JOB. I am clocking about 75 to 80 hours a week now. not going to tell you every part of the last couple of weeks. Just know it's been more then i have ever done.

I have been a CRAZY on-line shopper too.. like OVER BUYING... Eh well it's all in the heart of Christmas. Right?!!

What is even better? At 10pm tonight i start my Christmas VACATION!!! that's right for the next 4 glorious days i will be off ALL MY JOBS!
NO Job #1 - #2 - or #3 ALL OF THEM for 4 days.. 96 full hours.
I cannot wait. going to sleep in tomorrow and enjoy every minute with my family!!!


I am SO PROUD of my volleyball team... Saturday they ROCKED! won all three! the last game was a total nail biter. i swear to you they are going to put me in an early grave.. we ended up winning by two in 'overtime'
I have a great group of girls and i am very lucky to be their coach!

i will try to do ANOTHER update i know i have it saved in word somewhere in my computer from friday...

I don't know how much i will be on here in the next week, like i said i will be spending all my time with the family. I miss them!!!

This is quick one because it is going to show me becoming a blow fish? Pillsbury dough girl? Whatever- you can imagine I know this is going to be a boring update but need to be said to make me feel better

Something happened while being in Disney. I have NO IDEA what but i turned into this:

It bothers me to no end! Then my legs turned into:

at one point i was in MK at one of my favorite smoke spots by the castle, chatting with another, she asked if i was a diabetic. I said no. then she asked has this happened before.. I said no. she said if that was her she would have sought out medical.

this scared me.

I didn't feel different. don't get me wrong my legs were starting to hurt. i could feel them stretching. to the point my skin was getting shinny. I was drinking A TON of water. I don't drink pop. just coffee water and ice tea (unsweetened) I have NO idea in why my body decided to blow up like a damn blow fish!

I am a walker.. so it had nothing to do with the miles and miles we were doing daily. Ask a couple of the Dis people here... I can walk from one end of the lovely City of Chicago to the other! without problems!!!

I had no idea:

Until i went to the doc when i got home...
apparently my thyroid went haywire AGAIN and i needed my script upped to a higher dose!

Thank goodness i know what was wrong.. and i am on my way to becoming back to the original picture! I am still battling the blow up from Disney. One step at a time. Nothing is going to help until this stupid thyroid is back in check. Once a month i have to go in to for a blood test and every month my prescription has been upped.

So it these pictures seriously BOTHER me!

Enough about my crazy health problems.. I am going to try to get an update done today before CHRISTMAS!!!

11 more hours and i am on vacation...

Yes after job 1 i go to job 2 until 10pm...
