Move my dates forward?

Hello all!

I'm planning a trip for May of 2014. Originally we were planning on going the same week that we went this year: the week after Memorial Day. For us it was fine, we loved the weather and we didn't find the crowds to be too terribly overwhelming.

However, I've been thinking about moving our trip forward to one of the first two weeks in May. Easter is in late April this year so I don't want to move my dates too far forward and it ends up being crazy busy for Easter/Spring Breaks. My main reason for wanting to move my dates forward is for the Epcot Flower & Garden Festival. My mom loves flowers and I think she'll really enjoy herself. Plus she's been saying she wants to maybe add an additional day to our trip so I want to go during a less crowded week.

My question: Any opinions on which week is better? I've looked at a few crowd calendars but they're all different so they weren't much help. Thanks!

flexibility and an interest in the Flower and Garden Show then definitely move your trip to earlier in May. The crowds will be smaller compared to the week after Memorial Day. Some schools, like ours, get out before Memorial Day.

I would watch for the dates of Star Wars weekend for next year. There will be a slight increase in crowds on the weekends when it is happening. Most fans will be at DHS one or two days of the weekend but could overflow to otehr parks. This year they started on the third weekend of May - or - the second full week. They do shift from year to year.
