Mousewait app

I don't know what the general consensus is, but I felt like it was pretty accurate when I was there for my 6 day trip back in November. Obviously things can change quickly, so if you try to walk across the park thinking it will be the same, that might not be the case. But in my experience, it was a helpful tool.

I personally think the MouseWait app is great! The wait times are very accurate because there is a big community of people who are always in the parks updating times. They even have wait times for the Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor and Red Wagon Corn Dog cart! This app is definitely worth looking at :thumbsup2

Has anyone used the mouse wait app...is the info correct, was it helpful?

I find that the time gets messed up because people like to post the wait less than other people. So they screw up the times by entering the wait of the FP line, or with GACs. So this throws off the times a little on big attractions. MW is also basically an ego trip of its users, they argue about who is better all the time.

I think it's more useful on crowded days. On slower days, it seems like there aren't enough people entering information...so the times don't get updated for a while. For example, when we were there on Monday, it seemed that many of the wait times listed were 1 - 1.5 hours old. Stale info isn't very useful. But why not try it out anyway? Nothing to lose.

We live locally and use it all the time. Once we enter the parking lot we start to preplan a bit.

Most of the time it is pretty close. About as accurate as the wait time board near the Hub.

They toss out any input that is grossly incorrect, so it does have some integrity.

I used to like it, but the last couple of times I tried to use it it froze up my phone and I had to restart. Not sure what the issue is or what to do about it but it certainly makes me hesitant to use it again.

I love it - both when I am there and when I am up here too far away to enjoy the short ride lines. I find that it is pretty accurate. When we go on a ride, I enter the posted wait time and then when we get off the ride, I post the time for how long it actually took us, if there is a difference.

I've used Mousewait and find it fairly accurate--except for Monday when someone put the wait time for Peter Pan at 130 minutes! That didn't last long, however.

I've used MW many times, it's been quite accurate in my case. I have MW and Disney Parks that I use for DL and I also have Ride Hopper which covers other theme parks in addition to DL. I've never used RH at DL, we use that one for our local 6 Flags, I prefer MW and DP.
