Mousesavers reporting a huge deal for first half of 2009 coming tomorrow!

I'm confused! I already have a trip booked through AAA 2/5-2/10. I just got off the phone with Disney to get pricing for the same days to see if it would beat the price from AAA, but she said that the code didn't work b/c it wasn't for the 7 nights! I thought that as long as you paid for the 4 nights, it didn't matter if you stayed an addition 3 nights or not. It doesn't make sense b/c they're not losing money if we only stay for 1 night free. Anybody else have this problem yet?

My AAA price for BC for room and park ticket: $4600

My Jan-June price for BC for room and park ticket: $3200

Savings $1400. I still can't believe it :thumbsup2

Forgot to mention, my park ticket price is more because there are 5 people.

I priced out this way and with a pin code and the pin code saves more..Am I wrong? Anyone else do the math? (40 percent off code that is)

We are 2 adults, standard room at the yacht club - no dining, no upgrades, just basic tickets for 7 days: $2178.74

We are a family of 4. Two adults and two kids ages 3 and 9. We are staying at Caribbean Beach Resort 8 days/7 nights, park hopper tickets for all days plus the dining plan for $2800.

I originally had it booked for POP with the same thing and it was $3100. If I would have stayed at POP it would have been about $2550 but I decided to do the upgrade from POP to CBR. I wanted to stay there in the first place.

PLUS the $200 GC. :goodvibes :goodvibes

Just wanted to add that if you think you are saving too much money ask why.

The CM had me saving $1200 on POP. I was so confused. Then we figured out he had accidentally deleted the DDP off of my ressie and had to add it back on.

It works online for 6 nights.

I don't know if it's me, my computer, or the Disney site. :headache:
I want to double check the price we booked last night to the online price but it won't work. It quotes me the room & base tickets but won't let me add dining or park hopper. Can anyone who is having luck with the system do a price check for me please? :flower3: TIA!

6/13 - 6/20
ASMovies - std room

You still have to book for the 7 nights....you just would leave early....and not use the room

No, that is incorrect. You can actaully book for less days. You still have to pay for 4 days, but whatever you stay beyond that up to 3 days would be free.

I'm sure it's mass confusion now. We had to book for 7 (both online and over the phone), but were told it was no problem to leave early & set up ME to pick us up on the 6th day. Kind of weird, but now we won't have to worry about checking out/keeping our luggage somewhere before our late afternoon departure.

Thanks to everyone on this board, I was able to upgrade to a moderate and still save more money the POP was origianly priced with the 200.00 GC :dance3: Im super excited and cant wait till March now~!!!

Yes that was what I was told.. you need to do your original booking for 7 nights and then when you arrive you can leave early...

Just an fyi that I booked online and did not purchase length of stay tickets. I had no problems once I entered my credit card info and confirmed everything.
I also just booked online with a 1 day base ticket and all went through. Then I called the CRO to double-check and she said, yes, everything's fine, so I cancelled my prior reservation. Didn't save a bundle (had to upgrade the room), but almost $200 is better than nothing!

For those of you who see no availability, keep trying! Last night there was nothing at GF or CSR for my dates. This morning, there was, so I booked immediately.

Don't give up!

Question, I'm about to buy an annual pass.... so how does this discount work if you are an AP holder? To get the discount you only have to buy a 1 day base ticket? It that correct?

Yes. I'm an annual passholder and I have ONE DAY PHs added to our reservation. I'm pretty sure you can have it converted to a paper ticket; DH doesn't have enough days left on an old PH, so I'm going to give him my one-day to use.

Just wanted to give you an update....My AAA agent just called to let me know about the new promotion. Being that we're only staying 5 nights, it didn't save me too much money, but I also get the $200 gift card which is a nice little bonus!

I suppose that depends on who you speak with at WDW. If you do it online you can change the ticket default to a 1 day base without any problem. As I've read through this thread, others have had an issue when calling WDW directly. Than again, others have had capable agents who know they are able to do the 1 day base.

For our family, I have (for the moment anyway) opted for PH/WP&F even though I am an AP holder. I will simply take my PH/WP&F ticket to Guest Services and use it toward renewal of my AP. Even with all of that, we saved $1,890 off rack rate and $869.04 off the AAA rate! If I cut the tickets back to 1 day base and purchase the 10 day PH from another source, we could add an additional $183 (and change) savings. . .plus gain the 11th day we need for park visits. . .still thinking on this one and mulling our PH/WP&F options. . . :thumbsup2

I have been going on this site for days in a row planning and reading and loving the site. I decided this week that I was obsessed, so I took a break. WRONG MOVE!!!! This morning I got a call from my TA and she told me about the promotion and that she rebooked our trip in June and saved us over $1500 for 2 rooms at POR:woohoo: I'm super excited, but mad at myself for not knowing!!! So much for being obsessed. I'm checking everything daily from now on. I learned my lesson(and I'm a teacher:rotfl: ) June can't get here quick enough. Maybe if I use some pixie dust it will:wizard:
