Wow over 160 posts and 9k views in less than 7 hours. This is why when the discussion turns to discounts coming out on a certain date, you'd better dial at least 1 hour before CRO opens to get what you want.

This year they came out with free dining AND discounted rooms for 2009 so it will be interesting to see what they offer.

The last time a big deal came through did it include soem fo the lower end DVC resorts?

We are going for our 15th anniversary and just think that having a door between us and the kids would be kinda nice!

So All Star Music suites, two rooms someplace, or a DVC would solve that problem right?

Also, one of the more industrious TAs I had requested our trip with (but not booked with, haven't booked anything at all yet, still doing the too much money dance in my head) wrote me to consider placing a hold on the dates I ahd asked for earlier. I wrote back saying I heard the rumor of buy 4 get 3 free and if that was the case also book me the same resort but for 7 days.

She wrote back "You bet. I'll get those holds tonight" so no comment of that not being worth her time etc.

So here's hoping it is the plan or soemthign else just as good!

Wow, glad I checked here just to escape the community board for a while! We are booked for mid-March. I hope those dates aren't blacked out. We took advantage of the 4-3 deal back in 2003. I hope it will be something like that!

Makes me mad it’s the first half of 2009! GRRRRRRRRR! We’re planning an adult only trip for our anniversary at end of September to beginning of October. We thought we’d take the kids at the end of August, right before school starts. Although, I could do the second week of June, right after they get out. Hmmmmmm…

Oh, and Mary, that taunting is mean!! And what about us poor AP holders? Am I really going to have to buy *another* set of tickets to hang on to for upgrading later?

The suspense is killing me!!! We're leaving in 31 days...it was hard enough to convince DH that we NEEDED to go on this trip. Within two weeks of returning home from our Dec 07 trip, I booked this trip. Never in a million years did I think we'd go more than once but, when we got home, I couldn't imagine not going back. We haven't even left yet and now I'm already thinking about a third trip. Crazy!!! But, I'm staying tuned...

Got another email from TA when I was asking about what type of room would allow us to shut the door on our kids since it will be our 15 anniversary.
I wondered if DVC 1 bedrooms might be included in deal.

She wrote back and said yes they would.

I am freaking out because I have volunteered to work for charity tomorrow morning from 9-12 cleaning up/doing yard work for elderly people in our area. I won't be able to check and see if the discount comes out during that time. ARGHHHH! My luck, it will come out at 9am and I will be shut out by the time I log in at 12:30ish. I hope it comes out right away at 7am or not until after noon tomorrow.

what time do they usually come out?

I think that typically they come out in the early am but that is not to say ALWAYS if you know what I mean. That is what makes this so nervewraking...is that a word? oh well.....

I hope it is not 5pm, that is 2pm here and my daughter has an orthodontist appt at 2;30pm and we will be in the car on the way there. I could send her into the ortho alone and call from my car, but I hate to think what that would cost on my cell phone! lol
