Mousesavers reporting a huge deal for first half of 2009 coming tomorrow!

We usually go in the month of June and rarely get a deal. It would be wonderful to get one!!! Come on Mickey, throw some pixie dust this way!!:worship:

Yea, not kidding we either go late May, very early June or Thankgiving and haven't had a discount since 2003. May 08 I had the Poly booked and when the codes came out and I couldn't use them for my time frame, I called and cancelled and booked the Swan and was prepared to do that again if they left us out.

I refuse to get my hopes up. We'll be there Easter week and I wouldn't be surprised if it was a black out week.

If it were 7 for 4, that would be awesome. I know we got on a similar deal in 2004, I think it was something like 40% off a package, but I don't remember the specifics. Those were the great days before MYW.

Unfortunately, we can't take advantage of it if it's a package discount. We have 3 days booked at WL in Jan for the twins' 3rd birthday and we can't extend it to a full week b/c we are going down in December for a full week. This is just a little side trip to take advantage of our newly acquired (in Dec) annual passes. We are planning on a week at F&W, so maybe, just maybe, they'll offer something awesome for 2nd 1/2 '09 as well.

Let me tell you, if I could get 7 for 4, I'd totally be booking GF or YC CL. ;)

Thanks Mary for the hints. PP is right, I bet you are being PM'd like crazy. :P

Hmmm, now the question begs to be answered. Do I need to call now and book a room only package so I'll have a ressie atleast....or wait and pray that I get an operator that can get the discount for me LOL If they aren't releasing it till 5pm EST, that only leaves a few evening hours to book before they close...correct?

I'll be checking first thing in the morning.......and every few minutes until I hear something!!!:rotfl2: :surfweb: :rotfl2:

I wonder if there will be a limit to how many trips you can book using this package ;) We are hoping for a few days in January and then again in April just before our AP's run out :cool1: Maybe I'm being greedy?? :flower3:

This is goo timing with some of the airfares I saw today. I bought 9 Airtran tickets from Dallas to Orlando last week for $279 each. Today those same are $164 each TOTAL. UUGGGHHH! Oh well - an amazing airfare with an amazing Disney special is a good way to start off a new year!:cool1:

So what do you think if they are going to do the 7 for 4 deal--I already have a 9 day/8 night package booked for Feb 1-9. Will i still get the deal or would I have to adjust my dates first since i already have more than 4 days booked? I'm confused! Hopefully my TA from Dreams Unlimited will understand! Thanks for any help.

Hah - my DH, who is not very into WDW - just came home and I told him about all the excitement. I said the 4 for 7 thing is tough for us because of his schedule and we're plannign on going in Jan. right after the kids miss a lot of school, etc., etc. He said - "No - if they offer that let's do it!" I couldn't believe it! I still don't know if we would do it, but I can't wait to find out what "it" is so we can decide!!

I had the 7 for 4 deal in Nov. 2003. It was 7 nights hotel and 8 days of park hoppers. I added on a room only for the first night since we were arriving in the late afternoon and added another night at the end. When we flew out of Orlando at the end of the trip, we were able to give up our seats and take a later flight and got 4 free airline tickets in exchange! Of course, that meant we had to go back to Disney the next year. Overall, it was a great deal!
I hope this one adds dining!

I'm confused about the old "pay for 4 days and get 7 days" deal.

Let's say you want to stay 10 days. How would that work? Would you do the package for 7 days and then do a room-only for 3 days? If so, could you buy a 10 day park ticket with the package? I've never used that promotion, so I'm not sure exactly how it worked if you didn't stay an even 7, 14, or 21 days.

Of course, this new deal could be free dining or something totally new. I'm just covering my bases with understanding how the former "4 for 7" worked. :)

Oooh! I can't wait till this comes out. It looks like its gonna be a long night :surfweb:

The tickets were different in 2003. I guess if you wanted to stay longer you would buy longer tickets? and room only. I think there were people who booked 2 packages and stayed 2 weeks.

If this is really a good announcement, I am prepared to be beaten. We just got back Monday from our second trip in 6 months, and I have been told in no uncertain terms No Disney Vacations in 2009. Well, that is what my brother in law says, I still plan on taking a quick trip with my dad to see the fireworks over the 4th of July. But I love going with my nieces and nephew, so if it is a really good deal I can work on my sis, who can in turn work on her hubby. Sis has been looking at airfare again, already, so she won't be too hard to pursuade.
